Summary: Still a smoking hot video card for the PC, if you can find one at the right price like I did. Most if not all games still use Direct X 10 and 11 so; this card rocks. It was the hottest card on the market when it first came out so, its a big bargain now if you can find one. Definitely a Get It.
Summary: Plenty of horsepower under the hood with this card. Being the ZNF9 reference card, it clocks amazing though not as much in crossfire. Installed without a hitch and is running superbly. I did have to upgrade my PSU, but I knew this going in. Coupled with an AC Accelero Extreme 5870 VGA cooler this baby never goes above 55c even in X-Fire. There is plenty of mileage left in these cards for new games. XFX FTW!!!
Summary: Very satisfied and impressed with my 5870XFX. This card performs very well. I really don't have a con but if you really want one, this card is about 10 3/4" in length. That's it. If you want a smaller card you will sacrifice performance e.g. 5770. Why do that. Look no further. I was thinking getting another 5870 but I decided not to. On COD4, my fps is always constant 125. I changed the default settings com_maxfps 90 to com_maxfps 125. On HAWX 2 Max FPS 192 avg. 68.
Summary: This Card is a very good choice. isn't the fastest single GPU card actually but for the price (210 bucs) it's the better product to buy. In my case this card run Battlefield Bad Company 2 at 4X AA and 16 AF in 1680x1050 resolution without a problem and others DirectX11's games in high setups perfectly. Also this card have Double Lifetime Warranty and a excellent costumer support by the manufacturer. XFX is a great Brand.
Summary: I picked up a pair of these to upgrade from my previous Xfire setup. Every game I play including Crysis 2 and Dragon Age 2 perfrom flawlessly with virtually no slowdown. Multisampling at 4x, texture at 16x and 1080p res gives high frame rates (fps hover around 50). Love this card. Like most other reviewers said, The fan is a bit on the noisy side but with a good 5.1 sound system you'll never notice =) By the way.
Summary: There no other way to discribe this card but a power house every single modern day game you throw at this card it performed it wit ease no problem with noise or over heating just great very good card
Summary: This is an awesome card... lots of bang for the buck. I mostly play BC2 and can do so with settings maxed out getting an average of 40fps. This is without any overclocking or tweaking. I can say that the fps drop below 20 when there are multiple explosions near by, but this lasts maybe 1sec then ramps back up. My only complaint is that AMD have their heads up their butts when it comes to releasing stable drivers.
