Summary: Still a smoking hot video card for the PC, if you can find one at the right price like I did. Most if not all games still use Direct X 10 and 11 so; this card rocks. It was the hottest card on the market when it first came out so, its a big bargain now if you can find one. Definitely a Get It.
Summary: This card is a classic, a workhorse, even after three years. I just replaced it with a 7870 today and it still outperforms nearly everything in the market under $200. I have loved owning this card and I only gave it up because I got such a great deal on the 7870 and I can sell this one.
Pros: Quiet, plays most games at 1920x1080 at High Quality, reasonable TDP power use
Summary: would buy xfx again but i don't see much for the new XX70 cards from them...
Pros: Nice GPU never had a single issue, even bought a second one 6 months later for Xfire :) i was unsure of switching to XFX brand but am glad i did was less $$ then others i was looking at and has lasted about 2 years no problems
Cons: a little bit of a budget breaker when i first got the card 6 months later was much cheaper ;)
Summary: This card runs fine with Antec bp 550 watt with 22 and 25 amps on the 12v rails. i have yet to feel any wierdness from my computer due to power shortages of any kind. Ran this gpu 100% load in several games so not really a power hungry card for the kind of performance you are getting.
Pros: Wow!! Great card compared to my old 9800gt 1gb. Plays everything i need at excellent framerates most maxed out. nfs most wanted, medeval 2 total war, and bfbc2 with this card plays at 60+ with high settings (shadows turned low) 4xAA and 4x filtering. WEI rates this card 7.8 Cant hear the fan till...
Cons: Runs hot under load to my liking temps hit 85c in my case with a fan blowing air directly in front of the gpu. Could b fixed with raising the fan speed on the card some but the fan turned up high sounds like any other fan turned up high: annoying as hell. DRIVERS are garbage!! first time ati card...
Summary: XFX customer support is excellent as well. Their service representative was very friendly and knowledgeable. I'm buying XFX from now on.
Pros: Very durable, excellent-performing card. Last night, my water-cooled PC lost video output and when I started taking the PC apart to check it out, I noticed coolant on top of the video card below one of the water tubes. I took the video card apart and dried it with a hair dryer and vacuum cleaner ...
Summary: Very satisfied and impressed with my 5870XFX. This card performs very well. I really don't have a con but if you really want one, this card is about 10 3/4" in length. That's it. If you want a smaller card you will sacrifice performance e.g. 5770. Why do that. Look no further.
Summary: This card is huge about 11 inches long and was such a hassle to install in my case, but then again, I do not have a really big case.
Pros: -Runs pretty decent temperature -Handles any game you can through at it -Affordable -Not Extremely power hungry when considering the performance -It has DirectX11 -I have about a 150-180% performance boost coming from the 9800 GTX+ OC edition. That was a good card while it lasted though.
Cons: -The fan seemed loud at first, but I got used to it.
