Summary: Meh... if you think you might like to have a 3D graphics card, get something else. The card is OK. However, this card is very bulky. If it isn't connected 100% in place, it will cause OS blue screens.
Summary: First off let me say that this XFX 5770 is not a card you will like to have in your pc in the upcoming years. Second I was going to return the card and get a refund back, But I decided to keep it. Third I had in my pc a XFX 5670 that ran ok that gave me a score of a 7.1 of 7.9 in gaming.
Cons: Drivers do not auto install I did un-install the previous drivers completely still wouldn't work. I had to open it up in device manager and click on update driver and find the driver to install, after I installed it I was able to restart then install the Catalyst Control Center. I have seen a lot...
Summary: I bought the XFX version cause I hear a lot of good things bout them with there warranty and what not but I don't think I'll buy from XFX anymore.
Pros: Great price for the card that your getting. Can run Crysis at enthusiast setting with 30-35 fps at 1600x900 resolution, MW2 at 70-100 fps, farCry2 35-50 fps. Has DX11 witch is very nice looking. Not to big of a card just about as long as a 3850 but just more width.
Cons: after 3 days of using, games started flickering, computer freezing, and things start to get distorted
Summary: I bought a Radeon HD 4650 XFX model w/ 1 gig ram and replaced a 5 year old 6600 GT w/ 256 ram and experienced a dramatic framerate loss. I went through the online support and while team was polite, I found them to be condescending, not respecting my experience, they suggested common knowledge and...
Summary: I eventually sold this card to a friend for a loss. He runs a mid-tower case and he too is complaining about the sound, but for the price I sold it he can't complain too much :)
Pros: Ran fan, really good overclocker.
Cons: This thing is LOUD. Even after putting it back to default speeds it's LOUD. Temps would push 80C while gaming causing the fan to spin up to very audible speeds. I was using in in the Silverstone SG05 though. The replacement I purchased runs cool & quiet in the exact same case however.
Pros: Great price for performance. Quite and cool.
Cons: Performance is only good when it works. This is my first ATI card in 10 years and I'm wishing I spent the extra for the nvidia. The only game I'm playing right now is STO and it locks the computer completely on a regular basis.
Summary: I'll never buy XFX again, had a PNY gtx 260 before this for 2 years and it never had issues like this.
Pros: -Great price -Runs DX11 -Good looking heat sink with copper contact -Good frame rates on all my games including Battlefield Bad Company 2 (held about 50 - 60 fps on maxed out settings)
Cons: -It's dying 3 months into owning it, clicked refresh on the windows experience index and the video completely cut until i restarted, can't play games for more than 10 minutes at times till it dies and thats when they even get passed the main menu
