  • Summary: You can't go wrong with this 5450 for this price. I installed it into an aging machine (AMD Dual core 5300 FX with 4 GB of DDR2 RAM and a fresh install of Windows 7 64 bit) - the additional 1 GB of DDR3 RAM on the video card has handled all media I have thrown at it without any lag or problems. Would definitely recommend! PS Thanks NCIX for the ultra fast shipping - had this delivered to my door within two days of ordering.
  • Pros: Price, specs and performance are excellent.
  • Cons: None

XFX AMD Radeon HD 5450 1GB GDDR3 VGA/DVI/HDMI Low Profile PCI-Express Video...

24 August 2014
  • Summary: I bought 6 of these for a local business to go into 6 Dell Inspiron i3847-5078BK Desktops so they could run dual monitors on each computer. The card is great & installs easily on Windows 7 machines. Windows 8 & 8.1 is a little more tricky as you have to change the secure boot options in the computer's BIOS so it will find the new hardware. (not the video card or computer's fault!

Low profile, low power, perfect.

Amazon Customer, Amazon
30 July 2014
  • Summary: Fantastic low profile card. The HD 5450 may be getting a bit older, but XFX still turned out a high quality part. If all you need is the ability to play back HD content, do a bit of browsing, and maybe watch some online video this is perfect. Just be aware that it is a low profile, passively cooled card. That means that in certain situations it will get hot. Especially if you have poor air flow in the case and try to play a game on it.

Helped to ressurect my Dell E310!

  • Summary: I bought this after researching a fix for my Dell E310 video card upgrade. I needed something that would get my outdated PC running Ghost Recon, Halo and Minecraft for my kids Win 7 computer. Well this coupled with the PCI Express PCI-E 1X to 16X Slot Riser Card Flat Flexible Extension Cable (wire 19cm,total 24cm) , some minor case and wiring modifications, it worked perfectly. The XFX says that it required a power supply upgrade, but seems ok after 4 hours of gameplay.

  • Summary: Bought this for an older HP slimLine that I have set up as a HTPC, Works perfectly. I was concerned with wattage from the power supply ( Sys Requirement state 400w but the HP i have only has a 250W. I have been running it non stop for a few months now w/o an issue. But it's only pushing movies most of which are 720 or 1080.

  • Summary: This card is not very powerful for playing games, but for a media pc to stream or play music this would be perfect.
