Excellant Video Card for the Money

T. Vaughan, Amazon
  • Summary: This video card far exceeded my expectations. Beautiful full HD 1080p video is no problem with dual screens. Plenty of power for most things except maybe some heavy gaming. You can't beat this for the cost. I am using this with Linux Mint KDE (based on Ubuntu) on an MSI FM2-A55M-E33 motherboard with AMD A8-6600K processor. It provided much better video than the onboard video of the motherboard alone. And it is as quiet as can be (passively cooled).

Great video card for quick dual monitor setup

Brian Perret, Amazon
16 September 2014
  • Summary: Great video card for quick dual monitor setup. This was for a garage (workshop) HP slimline box that I just needed to run dual monitors on. I can't speak for the actual graphics capabilities other than just normal web browsing and streaming video, but it works great for what I need it for. FYI, I had to install the driver package to get it working on Windows 7 with dual monitors.

AMD does it again

P. Sutton, Amazon
15 September 2014
  • Summary: I bought this for my wife to upgrade her AMD PC. Her needs are not too strong. The installation went smoothly, now she uses her PC to do schoolwork on her monitor while playing videos for the kiddo on the 55" TV. Pros: Inexpensive Easy to install Good documentation Cons: None I do recommend this card for people who don't need to have the latest and greatest. It's a solid workhorse.

User Review

Sego1, NCIX.com
5 September 2014
  • Summary: You can't go wrong with this 5450 for this price. I installed it into an aging machine (AMD Dual core 5300 FX with 4 GB of DDR2 RAM and a fresh install of Windows 7 64 bit) - the additional 1 GB of DDR3 RAM on the video card has handled all media I have thrown at it without any lag or problems. Would definitely recommend! PS Thanks NCIX for the ultra fast shipping - had this delivered to my door within two days of ordering.
  • Pros: Price, specs and performance are excellent.
  • Cons: None

XFX AMD Radeon HD 5450 1GB GDDR3 VGA/DVI/HDMI Low Profile PCI-Express Video...

Joes Garage, Amazon
24 August 2014
  • Summary: I bought 6 of these for a local business to go into 6 Dell Inspiron i3847-5078BK Desktops so they could run dual monitors on each computer. The card is great & installs easily on Windows 7 machines. Windows 8 & 8.1 is a little more tricky as you have to change the secure boot options in the computer's BIOS so it will find the new hardware. (not the video card or computer's fault!
