Summary: The card did not work in my Compaq Presario. While it drew power and got warm, there was no video output. I spent ten hours over a weekend in an effort to get the card to work for me. Nothing. I contacted XFX. THey asked me to send the card to them and I did. A service tech from XFX called to tell me the card worked for him and that the issue was either with my ability to install video cards or the BIOS in my motherboard.
Summary: Card was dead when it arrived. I was replacing an older PCI-express card so I know it wasn't the PC. If it worked, it might have gotten a good rating. Amazon was great about the return and refunding my money though.
Summary: I got this to replace an oboard HDMI Radeon HD 3200 that came stock with my PC. New out of the box with the HD 3200 I had all kinds of problems getting the system to play 5.1...since this was a HTPC this was no good. I dilly dallied around and eventually got it to work, this was after a few hours of tinkering and trying new drivers ect...
Summary: Not much to say here I bought this card 3 years ago and I believe with my latest rma it is my third time. What eventually happens is the card would no longer get detected by the motherboard or it would freeze during gameplay. When it works it does work well for the price factor. If that is the case I went out and bought an Nvidia card to test it. I will rma this card once more and keep it as a backup.
Summary: In one computer it would not even get to the blue screen if the video card was inserted. The computer had 2 gig of ram and an amd 64 3000+ and I'm pretty good with computers. The other computer it worked and installed to the computer, but everytime the computer goes into hibernation or sleep it requires a complete reboot of the system for the display to work.
