William g., Newegg

  • Summary: Used it to upgrade a Windows 7 Compaq computer that had incompatible Nvivia Graphics chip on board worked like a dream also of loaded the Graphics from the CPU so I got a slight speed increase!
  • Pros: multiple form factor was a plus I was unsure if I needed a half height card or not (I did Not) but it came with both brackets the driver installed easily
  • Cons: None

  • Summary: I highly recommend if you are trying to add more functionality or upgrade a older, mid to low, etc. end PC.
  • Pros: Far better than onboard, definite upgrade. Easy install. Runs smooth and cool. Low power consumption. Good output options, easily and cheaply add HDMI. Much more.
  • Cons: None. If you expect R9 390 or better out of this. . .

Is What it is.

Shawn R., Newegg
20 December 2015
  • Pros: Needs no extra power, 1gb video ram, doesn't over heat. Good for a budget build to surf the internet and play older games that requires 2.0 shader. Great price at 30 bucks. It has given me no issues in over a year owning it.
  • Cons: None really, I knew what I was buying when I got it so was not disappointed. It has made my young daughter happy to play Popcap games, Sims 3, etc.

Buyer Beware

Neil M., Newegg
27 November 2015
  • Summary: I bought the Nvidia geforce 610 for around the same price previously, and worked fine on this machine.
  • Pros: None
  • Cons: Signed up for Newegg Premier and bought this card hoping to take advantage of the 20 dollar mail in rebate. Card was dead on arrival (DOA). Tried it in a few different machines and it did not work. Not my first card in this series and previous ones all worked (from other manufactures). I would be...

Super value

Vincent R., Newegg
27 September 2015
  • Pros: The HDMI connection's HD picture on my TV is GREAT!!! The price is very, very economical and the installation is very simple.
  • Cons: After I installed the software for the video card, it knocked out my on board sound. I was confused until I connected the HDMI cable to my TV. I was able to control the sound with my TV remote. Read the manual BEFORE you start the install.

Nice card, yet some problems

Ralph, Amazon
25 September 2015
  • Summary: Nice card, I already see a increase in my FPS on games, and a general resolution increase over the integrated GPU. The problems I have with this card, and the reason I gave it a 3 star, is that right out of the box, the metal bracket was bent, which was easy enough to unbend, but they should make...

Flawed design makes it unusable: Runs to hot to be installed in low profile cases.

sf, Amazon
5 September 2015
  • Summary: While it worked for a few uses, would end up completely freezing probably due to overheating. The form factor is meant for small and crammed cases with very little airflow. This would mean that when it was designed the engineers knew that and made a card that wouldn't heat up much when used at peak...
