Summary: I kept getting the error "display driver stopped responding and has recovered" found quite a few ways online that was suppose to fix this error and none of them worked for me. XFX was no help either. Sending this card back now, not sure what card I'll be getting in the future (now leery of Radeon), but will be going to my old GeForce 9600 GT.
Buy this card if you find one. XFX HD 690X-ZRFC I GB GDDR5 X-16 256-BIT

Summary: I bought this graphics card for a spare gaming computer when my friends come over my machine I have a AMD 6950 2 gb card and this card benchmarks 85% of that card .It's a great card 256 bit 1 GB.It's quality AMD FX 8120 GIGABYTE 970a-d3 16 gb ram intel 180gb ssd..
Summary: XFX is a company that I am turning to more frequently when I am in need (or want) of a new graphics card, my last two cards now have been from XFX and both have performed flawlessly, even in a fairly dusty environment. This 6790 performs even better than I expected and does not overtax the cooling of my existing system, great product that I would recommend for most who need a better than average graphics solution.
Summary: Installed the card and everything worked great for about 45 minutes...then the random crashes started. I tried re-installing the drivers, clean windows install, and just about everything one would do in this situation. The only real solution was to remove the card and go back to my old card. Computer is happy again and I am returning this card to Amazon for a refund.
Summary: I've been an ATI supporter since before they were actually a real competitor to Nvidia. I recently began upgrading my computer with an array of new parts (Asus Sabertooth 990FX board, AMD 4100 FX processor, 8 GB G.Skill DDR3 ram) and decided to purchase this card based on recommendations from Toms Hardware.
