Summary: The card is very affordable and you get plenty of bang for your buck. I currently have two running SLI and they run most if not all games between High and mid high settings. The 9800 gt does run very hot during game play or load but it usually can be fixed with a aftermarket cooler for less than 15 bucks. This card is made for the casual gamer that doesn't want to send to much. Highly recommended, I have had one for 3 years and its still going strong!
Summary: Great graphics card. Even though its a little dated, with a bit of overclocking or when running 2 of them together in SLI you can run almsot any game maxed out on highest settings as long as you have a good processor.
Summary: Comments about XFX GeForce 9800 GT Graphics Card: This product got me through 2009, 10, and most of 2011 without many problems. I recieved it as a christmas gift in 2008 and have been enjoying it ever since! It ran on windows vista without any problems and games never crashed on it! Runs every game i had from 2008 - 2010 including team fortress 2, far cry 2, amnesia, UT3, The whole orange box, even Portal 2 and left for dead 2 without difficulty on high settings.
Pros: Compatibility, Fast for its time, Still a good card
Summary: I bought this video card to play at 1680 x 1050 resolution on a 20" monitor, so far I have played most of my games with pretty good settings, except for crysis which I play at high no AA, apart from that COD4 plays beautifully, lost planet, company of heroes I get around 30 fps on high, anno 1404 gets a little laggy on high settings, I also tried caesar IV and I get decent framerates at high settings, but if you want smooth gameplay you have to turn details to medium,...
It's really, not a bad card (In my opinion at least)

Summary: I received this card, two days after I ordered it, I was expecting it to take a week or so to arrive since I was living up in Canada. Anyway, it runs great! I can play games that I want to with great frame rates! I have tried Grid and Modern Warfare 2 with max settings, I get around 50+ frames. For Grid sometimes constant 60. I also played Crysis, but it didn't work as well as my other games. I understand its Crysis, so I am not surprised.

Summary: Our application requires NTSC Video (S-Video Out Connector), and we ended up moving to this 9800 GT board, when PNY removed the S-Video Connector from their 9800 GT board (and PNY didn't even bother change the part number! The boards just started coming in without S-Video connectors). One other good thing about this board is that it wasn't too deep for our chassis... some other manufacturers 9800 GT boards are about an inch deeper, and wouldn't fit in our chassis.
Summary: love this card. once installed and updated the drivers there was a noticable improvment in picture quality and performance. can run WoW on high settings and stillkeep a ping of 88 and frame rate of 61 which is a great improvment over my last card
