Summary: I had been using the on-board graphics, which took up 256 megs out of the 4 gig maximum that the motherboard will take. This card works well, freeing up the RAM for the OS and providing 512 megs of video RAM. It works well.
Summary: My Dell computer had a problem where it would start up, shut off, start up, shut off, start up and then proceed with booting up. I tried at least 20 different things to get this fixed, until I received a posting on a Dell forum advising me that switching to this video card took care of the exact same problem on their computer. I had nothing to lose at this point, so I purchased this item and installed it and it took care of the start up issue!
Summary: Item arrived on time, and was exactly as described. The only problem I had was I didn't realize this is an O.E.M. product and didn't come with a driver disk. It was in the description, but I didn't think about it until card arrived with nothing in box but the card. I went to the GeForce web sight and downloaded drivers. My fault. Popped it in and worked great. Good replacement for the onboard video.
Summary: I bought this product for my dad's 5 year old computer that had a pcie 1.0 x16 slot. Previously I tried using a newer evga graphics card that advertised itself as pcie 2.0 but that card didn't work. This card however works beautifully and the seller got it to me in record time. I would highly recommend buying from this seller!
Summary: I don't use this card for gaming. I just use it for dual monitors. I like to have the ability to watch a movie and browse the internet at the same time or even have to browsers open at the same time.
