Summary: For some reason graphics card vendors assume that everyone who buys their product is a gamer. Maybe most of them are, I'm not. I use my computers for business and it is very helpful to be able to have more than the one or two screens that most stock computers support. First of all the doc tries to support multiple products at once. That's fine if the characteristics are similar. In this case one of the instructions says, "Some video cards require additional power from...
Summary: Purchased this to get more desktop space on my dual monitor system by upgrading to quads. Super simple install. I considered taking it to a bestbuy or compusa to have them install it, but after removing the cover from my pc... it was obvious what needed to happen, lol. The instructions could intimidate someone with all the jargon. I was up and running 4 displays in a matter of minutes after installing.
Summary: I am one of those the require multiple monitors to accomplish many tasks during the work day. I moved from 2 monitors to 4 with this card and so far it has performed well. So far it has run all of my apps along with some minor 3D apps and I have no problems. Easy to install. The only thing I would suggest is to go to the manufacturers website for Win8 drivers and don't use the supplied disk.
Summary: I have now had this for over 6 months and it is working perfectly. I have 4 monitors, 2 portrait and 2 landscape. The only downside was that the first card I got had a problem so only handled 3 monitors. However, they sent me a replacement and it has worked perfectly since the replacement.
Summary: Out of circumstances not at all fault of the seller or Amazon unfortunately I did not have a chance to install this card until just now. That's why I now cannot return it, which is of course disappointing as I have no use of this piece of cr*p - which really is irrelevant in terms of the product review, but wanted to share for full disclosure. I have 1 Dell U3011 (2560 x 1600) & 3 Dell LCDs 1920 x 1200 each (2407WFP, 2408WFP, U2312M, respectively).
Summary: It was a very simple hardware install on my Windows 7 pro system. Getting the monitors setup in the correct order was a bit tricky and frustrating. Like most manuals the online PDF I found was less than helpful in explaining each setting and it's usage. I think that the manual could have used some setup examples and how to achieve them. Other than the software initial snafu I think the card is working well and worth the price.
