PCI express card shipped instead of AGP card
Nanjappa Jagadish, Amazon
Summary: The only reason why this product got a single star was because the seller of the item shipped the wrong component. They shipped the PCI Express card version of this graphics card instead of the AGP version of it. Upon contacting them about it, they refunded my money because they didnt have the AGP version of it (which is a good thing) but, asked me to just keep the PCI Express card (bad thing)! Sounded like they didnt want to spend any money to get the card back from me.
Summary: I just wanted to play minecraft and run a small extra monitor, it works perfectly for this. WIth optifine installed on minecraft it runs on low settings. I don't mind that tho. It can really bring an old computer back to life. Only thing is, it has to be reinstalled everytime I turn my computer off. This can be very annoying at times.
Summary: The board that was delivered does not have the same connectors or heat sink as the part described and illustrated here, although the part number matches. The information given in the product description is wrong. The part we received is incompatible with our needs.
Very mixed results Amazon is great but Visiontek not so much

Summary: I purchased this card to use on an older Compaq Presario with a motherboard that only had an AGP 8 slot. Set up went ok but after 3 plus months stopped working. Computer would not boot. I contacted Visiontek and asked for an RMA and they in turn asked for more information and copy of sales invoice which I provided. After several attempts to contact visiontek after I sent the information there was no response. I then contected Amazon using their complaint email system.
Summary: The original on-board Intel video chip set on my old Pentium 4 1.8Ghz was laughable. I was about to chuck the system when I found this card. I made my system viable again. No gaming system, by any stretch of the imagination, but it can play digital videos again & I can run my monitor in digital mode.
