Summary: The card worked well for a few months running Windows 7 on a MSI socket 939 motherboard, but after a software update, it flaked out and wasn't recognized as a AMD product by Catalyst software or Windows 7.
Summary: Bought this, as I have seen others do in online reviews, to salvage an old Dell 4600 computer to allow photo copying and the use of programs requiring DirectX9 capability. Seems to be working as hoped for. Allowed use of AGP slot and although this is no longer the in thing, it works for me.
Summary: Replacement card worked well in an older PC (10 years) w/2 HDDs (XP/Ubuntu). Pretty much plug'n'play for both OSs. It's getting hard to find older compatible components, especially NOS. Recommended.
Summary: Arrived on schedule and in perfect condition. Vastly improved the graphics on my GA-8IG1000mk rev.2 motherboard, Windows 7 32- bit WEI index went from 2.9 to 5.4 for gaming. DVI output is awesome! Video quality outstanding! Handles windows aero without any issues.
Summary: so far, no good, support pending, driver issues with winXPsp3, MFR's latest drivers won't install device, legacy drivers give black screen, no time to fight with it any more because I have to work for a living, no time to piddle around with "support" phone bank people during business hours while...
