Summary: It's no 2GB GDDR5 PCI-E uber graphics card, but it got the job done for a computer that was originally assembled in 2003. The card has been in the computer and running for over two years now without a single problem.
Pros: I bought this to breathe life into an older Pentium 4 PC and upgrade it as far as it would go. It was a great deal for the price. Easy to install and configure. Made the computer a lot smoother visually, given the age of the components.
Cons: The drivers that come with it are outdated, and nVidia isn't updating their drivers much beyond that anymore. It's been discontinued from Newegg.
Pros: VGA: works reliable (have not burnt out yet despite not having a fan, had 2 other cards with fan burn out on me) 1920 × 1080 compatible no stuttering at high resolution (but runs kinda hot)
Cons: S-vid 4pin: max resolution is 1050 but video is curved at edges with no software options to correct for this no way to adjust margins independently can only move picture in 4 directions or shrink/enlarge
Summary: this is a good card for older units and it gets the job done. I didn't want to invest in a expensive card on a computer that is running ddr 266 ram..lol but for 30 bucks it will allow the old unit to live a while.
Pros: it works and is cheap. good graphics and because it's not cutting edge windows will install a driver automatically or you can use the disc it comes with.
Summary: This card had given my 8yr old Dell Dimension 4600 desktop some additional life. The PSU went out and must have taken the original 5200 graphics card with it. OS would not load with failed card in place.
Pros: An easy and in expensive replacement for a failed AGP graphics card. Worked with the existing graphics card drivers, no need to load included drivers.
Summary: Nice product, a great improvement for older PC to keep these workhorse for a few more years
Pros: Does exactly what is advertised, was easy to install, well packaged. I was originaly suprised to see this old graphics card still on sale and it was perfect to boost up an 5 year old desktop runnig on 64mb integrated. The jump to 256 is noticable and it helps alot when it come to productivity and...
Cons: NOTE: It is easier to install the nVdia drivers than the ones on the CD than come with the product. Also, it runs a tad hot but for a fanless GPU, the heat is not to the point of worring
