Good, during warranty period

Anonymous, Newegg
28 July 2014
  • Summary: I have 6600 GTs, and HD 4650s still in service to this very day. I must expect too much from a Sapphire 7770?
  • Pros: *Great price/performance ratio *OC'd with warranty
  • Cons: *Died at exactly 2 years 1 day after purchase.

Great budget card

Robert C., Newegg
27 February 2013
  • Summary: Check your PCI 16 slot and make sure the plastic part of the card is not going to be blocked. I had to shave off about 1/16 of an inch but it fit right in!
  • Pros: Great budget card. Absolutely worth every dime. Runs super quiet, not too hot and still gives me the FPS i want on a 21" widescreen monitor (1900x1080).
  • Cons: None

  • Pros: Very strong card for the money. With the Asrock z75 mobo, i3 ivy bridge cpu and 8 gigs of Gskill ripjaws ddr3 1600, Skyrim and Farcry3 have no problems at all running at max res and ultra settings. I really didn't expect that, but am highly impressed with this cards performance.
  • Cons: None at all. Only con i can think of would be that i didn't order more :)

Awesome card for gaming.

Allen I., Newegg
29 November 2012
  • Summary: Was getting 20-30 FPS on EXTREME settings with everything turned up in Heaven unigine benchmarks, which is AMAZING considering this is a "mid-range" card. I averaged 35 FPS but that's because I have an old monitor and I matched the FPS to my refresh rate which reduced the FPS a bit.
  • Pros: This is my second 7770 card I've bought, one for my old computer and one for my new one. Do NOT let the term "mid-range" card fool you. It's quiet and cool even under heavy loads, and in most games I average 40-50 FPS on high settings. No issues whatsoever, and of course the Catalyst suite is a b...
  • Cons: I don't really like the plastic cover on the card. It's not an ugly card, I just prefer metal casings but of course I wouldn't dock an egg when it is merely personal preference.

Great card!

Anonymous, Newegg
20 November 2012
  • Summary: I got this card to crossfire with my XFX Core Radeon HD 7770, and this card just blows my XFX out of the water. My XFX card runs loud at higher speeds, a little hotter than this one, though not by much, and I just can't overclock my XFX to the level of this card's stock clock speeds without it...
  • Pros: Very fast, quiet, cool, and good price.
  • Cons: Makes my XFX Core Radeon HD 7770 look like a joke.

Solid card once drivers are updated.

Jesse K., Newegg
3 October 2012
  • Summary: Happy with my purchase.
  • Pros: Budget powerhouse card. Quiet, and stays at fairly low temps. Runs everything at reasonable levels, no ultrahigh on the latest games, but that's to be expected. Overall a good buy.
  • Cons: Same with most new ATI releases, it takes them a while to get the drivers squared away. Problems at first, but since the drivers now seem to be sorted, all is well.

Ruined by bad ATI drivers

Josiah M., Newegg
11 July 2012
  • Summary: According to a ratio of price to performance, this is a good card. Because of drivers, I'm not sure that is a completely relevant statistic. How many dollars is not being constantly annoyed worth?
  • Pros: Decent value for what you get... I guess.
  • Cons: The drivers are bad. ATI has always had baddrivers, but they are particularly annoying this time. Every time I restart my computer, black bars are added on the side of the screen. This can be fixed temporarily by changing the scaling option to 0 overscan. TEMPORARILY. Switching video modes or res...
