Summary: I was a little bit worried when the description said reconditioned. I plugged it in and it fired right up .I have it cross-fired with another 7950 and I can play any game on ultra high settings with no issues.
Summary: I have been using this to mine crypto currencies and it has been doing a great job. The single card get approximately 500-600 KH/s and is decently power friendly. I can tell by these bench marks that it would work great as a graphics engine.
Gaming machine with some alt currency capabilities
6 March 2014
Summary: I bought this card originally for gaming and boy does it chew through games at 1080p. I've also found out that it is great for mining alt currencies and have been able to make some extra money on the side when I am not using it for gaming. The card has already paid for itself in 3 months! Talk about a great purchase.
Summary: this card rocks! Ive owned it for over 6 months and this thing is a champ! OCed to 1100 on the core and keeps below 60c on the core and under 65c on vrms with about 50% fan speed. The only negative thing i can say is that the second 8pin power port is a little loose but it definatly does not effect performance. The voltage on the card seems to dynamicly adjust nomatter what i set voltage on.
Summary: This card is a favorite with Litecoin miners. Google 'coin mining rigs' and you'll see a full guide to building your own Litecoin miner with this card being listed as the best GPU for Litecoin mining. As was mentioned by another reviewer, this card is capable of up to 720Kh/s. I've built several rigs using this card and couldn't be happier. My 4 GPU rigs each generate around $500 worth of Litecoin per month, which is a perk. Who knew a hobby could generate income?
