Summary: I am now back to using my under-powered stock Nvidia card. After initially working well, albeit with a significant increase in noise at start up and under load, this card developed intermittent problems. The screen just went black. Then one day it failed to stopped working at all. Was a nice boost in graphics in games while it lasted. Very expensive for something with reliability issues.
No "never settle reloaded" promo with this video card!

Summary: I bought this card because AMD was running a special promotion on all 7950 cards called "never settle reloaded" which gave you 3 free "a" list games for purchasing their card. Seems this video card no longer comes with that Promo at least not from this vender. Otherwise I would have purchased a rival card instead which is a little faster. I just received the card today and I'm considering returning it!
Summary: The first look that i wanna put on is that the gpu indeed is amazing!, but taking by my experiencie this one arrived to me disfunctional at 100%. First of all, if i start my pc when the enviorment its quite cold ( around 10°) the gpu dont even gave signal... then i have to wait for a couple of minutes for the gpu to recognize the signal an then all normal.
Summary: I installed this in my MacPro 2009. Easy installation, great performance boost over my 5770 and of course over the original Nvidia GT120. If you don't toggle the little switch (PC/Mac) to Mac, it still works fine, you just don't see the gray boot screen with the Apple logo. Toggle the switch and all is well. Long term update after 18 months: had to remove it from my MacPro. It appears to lose sync randomly and that is very annoying.
Summary: I received the HD 7950, installed it successfully in my Mac Pro 4,1, only to find out that it did not work correctly in portrait mode under OS 10.8.3. Sapphire now tells me that this unit ONLY works in Mac Pros from 5,1 onward! It is not on their website, nor is it on Amazon's. A lot of time wasted.
Summary: The Good: Amazing cooler, and keeps things under 66* under heavy load and oc, about 34* under normal operation. You can almost get the same gains as a 7970 for a better price. Great software bundle, alone worth about 120$. The cooler is Silent under normal loads. 3GB on board ram (great for higher res monitors over 1980x1080) The Meh: THREE(3) space cooler design forced me to get rid of my old PCI sound card (xfi gamer)and spend another 120$ on a new one since it...
Summary: Don't get me wrong this card will get you your 40FPS but that is it. You will still have to deal with coil whining which I experienced with this card and constant frame stuttering and freezing. It gets the job done but if you want to have a premium feeling experience the GTX 770 provides this with ease.
Summary: I had a bad feeling about the card from the beginning. There was no significant difference from my other Radeon card bought in 2011 and which has to-date failed to impress. I have experienced all the signs of a bad card i.e. artifacts, freezing, crashing & stability issues right from the onset which is barely one month ago. Maybe this was from a bad patch, it happens but I am going back to Nvidia for now.
Summary: Ich habe diese Grafikkarte als Ersatz für eine defekte Grafikkarte in meinem 2010 Mac Pro (2,8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon 32 GB 1066 MHz DDR3 ECC) gekauft. Die Karte funktioniert zwar prinzipiell mit meinem Apple LED Cinema Display, allerdings kommt es zu unregelmässigen (ca. alle 30 Minuten) "Blitzen" auf dem Bildschirm.
