Summary: I have a pc psu without the 6pin power for graphix card, so couldn't buy a better card and this card was recommended as the best without additional power cable, so my expectations on performance were quite low, but gathered it would still be better than the stock card installed. So far, the card has exceeded my expectations in performance and value. Haven't had any problem with lag or jitters while playing games, even in the highest quality settings.
Summary: Well I have had 2 of these cards now and there was a problem getting from "starting windows" screen to desktop with both. Sometimes I'd just get a blank screen, sometimes after a while I'd get a desktop. If I turned my monitor off and back on all seemed well. But the first card then started flashing the desktop after booting up and there were purple artefacts, so RMA.
Summary: My youngest got into Minecraft big time and although the graphics are crude, our vintage Nividia Geforce could only handle the game action with a reduced frame rate etc. This card appealed because I am on a mission to silence our family server. I had some doubts about its G3D benchmark when compared to the fan-cooled R9, say. I did not really know how much power Minecraft required.
Summary: I was pleased with Amazon's service, as usual, but this card is a disappointment. Putting this in my system disabled the hardware acceleration on my 1st generation i3 530 processor and it seems to do nothing to replace it other than in 3D games. It makes overall PC performance far worse despite Windows' Performance Information and Tools showing improved scores for Graphics and Gaming graphics.
