ATI HD 4870 X2

Arnabiitr, Amazon
2 June 2011
  • Summary: Its truly a great card ,with pots of features and blazing fast speed than even some of the costliest NVIDIA cards .Only issue with this card is needs a high PSU SMPS (min 600W) and runs very hot even at idle except that even some of the newest (2011) NVIDIA cards are still no match to it .You...

Sapphire Radeon HD4870 Graphics Card

boneman, Rate it all!
26 June 2009
  • Summary: Great frame rates without lagging. Have Unreal 3 video settings all the way up and it doesn't hiccup. It is definitely better than my Crossfired HD 3870s (512 MB x 2) even though the gpu clock is @ 775 MHz (as opposed to 800 MHz from the 3870s).

Sapphire Radeon HD4870 Graphics Card

electronicsbuf f, Rate it all!
23 June 2009
  • Summary: Decent video card for the money. Had no issues with the installation. It runs well and was able to run games smoothly. Importantly, it runs quietly. The only issue people may have is that it is not a small video card and I was barely able to fit it in to my Dell Studio Desktop.

  • Summary: made. I will not comment on the performance as others have done that. Other: Pro's - Well . . . extremely high performance and easily configurable through the Catalyst Utility with many options. All the options you could want. Con's - Extremely long. Carefully pick your box.

Blazing fast video card

DePat "DePat", Amazon

  • Summary: I purchased the Sapphire Radeon HD 4870x2 about a month and a half ago. The card is a full length card. If you have a small mid-tower it might not fit in your case. Also make sure that you have a good power supply. This card requires two power connections.

Unbeatable value, but wow is this thing a beast.

Trent Steele, Amazon

  • Summary: When it comes to bang for your buck, you can't beat this card. The thing is a powerhouse. You can run just about any game out there in high resolution (1600x1050) at wonderful quality settings and still get a nice frame rate. This Sapphire card is built very nicely too.

Dead after 5 hours, but replaced without any problems.

Svend Tang-Petersen, Amazon
25 November 2008
  • Summary: I probably got a flaky copy in the first place, but the system hung with a frozen screen after less than five hours of non-intense usage. I originally installed the card taking electrostatic precautions. On reboot the MLB LEDs showed the system hanging on VGA.
