Failure after one year.

Summary: It was a good card while I had it. I'm just extremely disappointed that I need to shell out another $200 so quick. I wasn't prepared for this kind of expense.
Pros: 7870s are great for the price. I bought this one on Black Friday because it was about $0.99 cheaper than any other company's offering.
Cons: Died after one year of relatively light use. I clean my machines well, and my fiancee (whose computer this was in) isn't an incredibly intense power game. This thing wasn't exactly overheating. Nevertheless, after one year I have to replace it. I'm really disappointed in Sapphire's craftsmanship ...
Pros: This card is great for it's power for it's price range.
Cons: It has this issue when you run newer games in Fullscreen of down throttling it's power causing the games to crash and go into a sound loop and black out the screen. The card has a lot of potential and even trying some work arounds this card still has issues. Pay the extra money and get the nvidia...
Summary: I bought this card about a year ago and get a black screen within a few hours of playing certain games. Sometimes, the Windows Aero theme will also crap out. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this card--go with something more reliable.
Pros: Lower price point than Nvidia Good specs Installed without issue
Cons: After one month, decided to start having issues that included spiking, flicker and black screens. Sapphire support sent me to third-party for replacement and they are charging 15 dollars each way.
Summary: Beware of the HD 7xxx series! We still don't know what the cause was. Neweggs RMA process went smoothly.
Pros: When this card worked, it worked beautifully. Everything I threw at it ran sublimely and flowed perfectly.
Cons: However, when this card started getting the infamous BLACK SCREEN OF DEATH!!!!, there was no cure. The symptoms, a black screen with a hyperactive audio loop, rendered my computer frozen after approximately 5 minutes to 3 hours. The only cure was a hard reset.
Summary: I expected better shipping from newegg, 3 day shipping took 4 days and wasn't from the east coast. And I'm disappointed in AMD/Sapphire, this is my first Radeon card after years of nVidia and this is what I get.
Pros: Ran great in games, better than my GTX 460 768s in SLI.
Cons: After two days, BSODs like crazy, no boot whatsoever while the card was being powered and connected. I was worried about this happening due to other reviews stating the same and I was unlucky.
Summary: I should have known better. Hopefully, now you'll know better.
Pros: Was $40 cheaper than comparable models. Now I know why.
Cons: As widespread reports on the internet show, this card has a known hardware fault. A significant number of these are DOA. If you purchase this item, you're taking a high risk of getting a DOA card.
