Sapphire HD7850 GDDR5 Graphics Card (1GB); does what it says on the tin.

Andrew L, Amazon
17 November 2013
  • Summary: No computer expert but my son wanted to play PlanetSide2 which meant upgrading the screen, PSU and graphics card. Screen and card was quite easy as both were recommended by a gaming magazine. However trying to work out what size (wattage) PSU I then needed was more problematic. Once all fitted, all has been fine.

Sapphire HD7850

Chris MacDonald, Amazon
7 November 2013
  • Summary: First of all let me say, Ignore people telling you to spend 300-400 on cards. And ignore people telling you you should be playing at 60fps. That's rubbish, we watch films at 24fps and they are fine to us. So if you are above that gaming, you wont tell the difference between that and 60fps. With that said, this card (paired with my i5) has blisteres any game that I have thrown at it. Plays everything I have tried on ultra, even with AA on.

Sapphire HD7850 1GB

Alex Quartermain, Amazon
2 October 2013
  • Summary: I purchased as a replacement for my old HD 5770 and I can't fault this card. Tested with Bioshock Infinite, Assassin's Creed 3, Tomb Raider and Batman Arkham City on highest graphics settings at 1080p and didn't even break a sweat, rarely dipping below 30 fps, frequently floating around the 40's and occasionally hitting 50.

Great for the price!

  • Summary: I bought this to include it in my first PC build and it is a great piece of hardware! I've had my PC up and running for a couple of months now and this card is running perfect, it doesn't get too hot and churns out great looking games. Crysis 2, BF3, Metro 2033 have all run at max settings with decent fps, but of course as you lower the graphical settings the performance only improves. You won't struggle to make games look good with this card!

  • Summary: i ordered this card and the delivery was very quick. this card works great for 1080p gaming. played games like battlefield 3, future soldier, Most wanted 2,modern warfare 3,dirt 3 at ultra settings on 1920 X 1080 resolution with almost more than 40 fps in each game also more than 80 fps in games like dirt 3. Performance is very good , great graphics . but i think 1gb vram is very less .

Great Performance, but noisy fan even when idling

Bharath N A, flipkart.com

  • Summary: Great 1920x1080 performance, Dishonored and NFS MW 2 at max settings! If you are just a single monitor Full HD gamer, 1GB is more than sufficient.
