Good cards in 4 way crossfire not so much on there own
19 March 2013
Summary: bought for mining replacement There great cards do very well still on most games on 4 way crossfire not very good on there own anymore. O and the big one BUY FANS ahead of time and you will most likely have to mod the fan to make it fit properly or if you have the life time warranty the oc it to hell.
Summary: This video card is almost as good as a HD6970 for those of you bitcoin miners that are out there. The only thing I don't really like about it is that it runs HOT with the stock fan. I would suggest adding an aftermarket fan such as the Artic Cooling Accelero Extreme to it if you plan on using it 24/7 like I do. It also works very well for running modern games.
Summary: The 5870 has some of the best performance numbers in its generation. I needed one of these to set up a Bitcoin mining rig and the numbers you get from this are just great for the price. I used this in an Ubuntu Linux machine and the drivers work like a charm. I highly recommend these!
Summary: Hi Everyone! I just both this VGA to make a crossfire. I already had one before and I was very satisfied with it. The card arrived in onepened box. Everything went smooth. Although the crossfire stoop up immedietly without any problem, I expected more from these two babies. Not every games use the CF (of course it is not the cards problem) but the heat is. The upper is 80-82 the downer is 75. I still think it is a good choice to buy.
Excellent video card. Uses less power, runs cooler

Summary: I bought 2 of these in October 2010. They are excellent, and virtually silent. When I tax them the fan speeds up and they consume more power, but they are still quiet compared to many cards. They stay cooler with the Vapor-X technology, and are stable. Two thumbs up! Just a few things to consider: They are huge. May have problems fitting in some systems that don't have a lot of room. Cards are double-wide full length.
