Summary: I purchased this card in tandem with a new AMD X4 955 BE CPU and MSI 890GXM motherboard. Unfortunately, the card has serious issues with stability; at least under Windows 7 64-bit Professional. A quick search on Google will confirm that many people are having problems. I called ATI/AMD and the tech support person told me they're aware that the card has problems (fast lines over the screen, system freezes and Windows 7 restarts the driver, and in 3-D games spontaneous...
Summary: I had high hopes for this card. Unfortunately, I couldn't use it at all because the drivers ATI uses, Catalyst drivers, will not install in Windows 64bit. After trying repeatedly for hours, I searched online and found the problem to be common and widespread. Nvidia, on the other hand, worked smoothly with no problems whatsoever. I exchanged this card for an Nvidia GTX260 and could not be happier.
Excerpt: Perform excellent for about 2 1ǘ months, now it dead. Dead! Can't RMA. Card dead immediately after 2 1ǘ months, can't get it RMA cuz it was purchase over 30 days, I don't consider they have a neighborhood or U.S. place where u can send them to. This is what I located at Sapphire support "For any overseas return on RMA outdoors their regular warranty with their nearby supplier, the local RMA centre will apply a basic administration charge to cover the logistics return of...
Excerpt: Worked excellent for 24 hours... More than heats on simplistic games like, League of Legends, World of Warcraft, Diablo 2 etc. I in no way overclocked this card, yet I did set up the software from ATI that came with the video card. But I have had 17 hardware failures due to undesirable overclocking and I haven't even touched the computer software. This is ridiculous, I just built this machine Saturday evening.
Excerpt: none ,cheating amd ATI disabled MVC in five series ,don't be fooled by buying this card ,in fact AMD degrade driver for 5 series amd ATI disabled MVC in 5 series ,don't be fooled by acquiring this card ,truly AMD degrade driver for five series
Excerpt: Heard they were fantastic, and they are pretty searching. DOA I am a happy longtime nVidia/EVGA owner, I thought I would give this a try in crossfire to compare with my GTX480. Being also a longtime AMD owner/builder I expected their ATI acquisition to strengthen overall performance and chipset/driver quality. Not happy.I RMA'd so I'll give it one far more shot.
Excerpt: This card runs quite properly when it works. It doesn't work very frequently. I purchased the gpu, and the driver was crashing randomly, so I was told to flash a new bios by the manufacture. This crashed and broke my gpu so I had to RMA it. This costed me ุ dollars. My new gpu comes and I have the identical problem, and I'm being told to send it back once again. I borrowed a pals GeForce 8600GT and it worked superior than this GPU.
Excerpt: Ummm.... It seems like a good investment, but appear at Cons Nicely this is the 1st time I have ever given anything 1 egg. Proper out of the box this thing didn't work crashing my technique even on default settings, when it doesn't crash my pc entirely the card crashes by itself. I will never ever obtain a Sapphire product again. I have an XFX HD 4650 that works superior than this.
Excerpt: Decent 5770. Sapphire just contacted me demanding I supply copies of my invoices or packing slips for every single of my seven Sapphire cards ƒ 6950s, four 5770s and 1 5450) as well as pull each card from my systems and photograph them front and back. Oh and I have to do all this in a email that is smaller than 1 MB..
Summary: Excellent, well priced card for gaming. With my amd 6-core 1060 processer, it runs Farcry 2, Fallout3, Crysis and Bioshock2 all at full blast with no noticable framerate drop. For 3-5 minutes. After that I get all sorts of problems, from 'display driver stopped responding' which crashes the game to the card just ceasing to work leaving me having to physically reset computer to get it back on again.
