Summary: I had this card probly a year or two, the fan stopped and the card followed suit... Not happy, not buying another ATI product, and I think its an AMD product I probly wont buy anymore of that either.
Summary: excellent card, awesome performance!! upgrade from gts250, yes, now i'm in the "red-side" !! Pro: Great performence easy instalation Cool, 60°C full Load, 45°C Idle no expensive for performence, worth any nickel!!! Great overcklock. Cons: Loud Fan, but keep the card very cool!
Summary: I have no problems whatsoever in running any game on its highest detail also looking at the price its a great bargain compared to its competitor nvidia 275GTX of the same price even the ATI is still cheaper and deliver higher performance
Summary: I'm a gamer and I must say that this card is absolutely amazing. I was choosing either this card or the NVIDIA GTX285. I waited for the 4890 to come out to see what specs that it has. At the time of release, the 4890 was $100 less than the 285 and it was the new kid on the block.
Summary: The card ran amazing in my new rig, runs a little bit louder than my old 9600 GT because of the dual pci slot cooler. Overclocks like a beast, I'm at 900mhz gpu and 1050mhz memory with no artifacts. There's a bit more of head room.
Excerpt: The 4890 is a great graphics card, featuring 1gb 256-bit GDDR5 memory, 850 mhz core clock, 125gb/second memory bandwidth and you're all thinking cut to the chase does it play games well!? The answer to that question is: Yes.
