Summary: I have had this card for a little while now and only had to return it once due to dying randomly. Everyone gets a lemon now and then, but since I got this new one it has been working like a champ. I found it to be very compatible with my hardware, but does have its series of issues. Pros: -Lowest GPU power consumption card at the time -Runs most current gen games no prob -Best deal for the price about 12 months ago Cons: -Only one Fan, it is tricky to OC without sounding...
Summary: This card runs well as long as it's working properly. I replaced my old Radeon 4890 Power-color edition and there was a slight improvement from that when it came to running particular graphic enhancements in games. I mainly bought it so I would have DX11 since my old card didn't. This is the second 6870 I have had to get, the first one was DOA, Amazon let me swap it for a new one.
Summary: I bought this as a major upgrade with memory, mobo, cpu and guess what the memory has failed after 8 months (Thanks G-Skill for that) and now 3 days after the warranty the graphics card by SAPHIRE has burnt out and not even doing anything like the last few SAPHIRES I have had.I am GUTTED.Overall performance was good for games, good speed, nifty frame rates but a drain on the P.s.u.Had to upgrade P.s.u TWICE with last being 850 watt pure gaming Psu, and STILL card ran close...
Summary: I don't know if it's just me. I have mostly been using Nvidia graphic cards in the past and every time I get something from AMD, the experience has always been awful. Received this two weeks ago and here is what I have got, 1. Blue screen occasionally when playing games (updated the driver, no joy). 2. One morning, I turned my PC on and after a minute, it shuts itself down. What? 3.

I think there should be more specific instructions as to which adaptors work with this card, so be warned...I have now sent it back..!
