Summary: So, i bought this card to combine with an FX-6100 in a gaming build i was working on. This thing does phenomenally on everything ive put it through. Skyrim, battlefield 3, and need for speed most wanted on the highest settings and it handles it well. There is only the occasional lag in the picture when a lot gets going. Has trouble when i turn on Direct X 11 on Batman: Arkham City, so i left it off. Otherwise, everything looks amazing on my HD monitor.
Summary: I bought this almost one year ago, and installed it around June 2012. To this day, everything I throw at it gets played like the breeze. The heaviest and most demanding game I've played is Batman Arkham City and this card can handle it at maximum resolution (1920x1080 in my case). Any hiccups I've experienced playing the game are mostly due to my slow harddrive. This card is worth every cent.
Summary: I am by no means a computer expert but I wanted to play some of the latest games and be able to crank up the visual settings while doing so. To play most games on high it seemed like I would have to spend upwards of $300. Thankfully I stumbled upon this guy and its been allowing me to exactly what I wanted at a fraction of the price.
Summary: My computer had integrated graphics (roughly 4400 I believe) and while I could play games such as League of Legends on decent settings I could not play portal 2 without choppy frame rate. I was looking around fora good price and I came along this graphics card after much searching. Not only was it on sale for under $140 but it has a rebate (which is a bit hard to cash in on but most are). The price was good so I took a look at the card.
Excellent budget gaming card from ATI's favorite Sapphire
Eric Bousquet, Amazon
26 April 2012
Summary: As of April 2012, this is still an excellent modern gaming video card. Runs Skyrim, Diablo III (beta,) and Battlefield 3 on maximum settings without a stutter. If you prefer ATI/AMD chipsets for your GPU, or are otherwise forbidden from an nVidia GPU (my motherboard's current BIOS revision is having issues with nVidia chipsets,) the 6850 is an excellent choice. I'd be hard pressed to recommend anything else in the <$150 bracket.
Summary: The card should do well in your case. What I really like is that the 6-pin power connection faces you and not the rear of the case. It should save you from having to move a hard drive out of the way.
Summary: You get a lot of bang for your buck with this card. It is 10 inches long and is double height, so it isn't going to fit into one of those compact mini cases most likely. It requires one 6 pin pci express power connector. You probably want a 500+ watt power supply to safely install this. Make sure your computer can accommodate these things before you buy it. This card is surprisingly quiet for how powerful it is.
Summary: Just recently ordered (and received from Amazon sooner than expected) the AMD sapphire radeon 6850 video card. The biggest single factor in making this purchase was the reviews that Amazon posted. I've got to say it, "The card is fantastic, just as you've all said". I operate a separate pc just to watch our movies on a 55" LCD tv and what I thought was good with the old radeon has become breathtaking.
Summary: I was wondered when it come with 2 day shipping, it arrived in time, very well packaged. First time when I plug it, computer started to appear blue screens(I had Nvidea GTX 460 1 GB version and I forget to uninstall driver, I think it's the reason of B.S.O.D) So I had to reinstall Windows 7, after that card is working flawlessly, without any problems.
Summary: I purchased this product after debating between multiple 6850's, 6870's, ect. Now, I'm glad I purchased this one from Sapphire. Sapphire Trixx provides fully configurable fan speeds, voltages, and clock speeds [although the fan speed will need 'checked' after boot-up to go from 'automatic' to 'custom'.] and performance with the 12.1 preview drivers is respectable.
