Summary: Sad to let them go as I have had them for over 6 years now and never needed to upgrade.I will be giving them to my son so that he can try and tear em up now while learning about PC's. To my Dual HD 5850's: 2009-2016. I will never forget the hours you gave me over the years.
Pros: Card was powerful, cool running, worked no matter the condition it was in, humidity, dust, hot weather, you name it it always worked. Never had any bad experiences.
Cons: After 3 years fans got really loud and wobbly. After 4 years driver support became horrible bugged with shadow rendering. After 7 years cards are not supported, and I will now have buy a new one. (Dang things may be loud but they still work like a champ other than no updatable drivers!!)
Summary: This video card will handle anything but the most extreme overclocking environments that only a very few think is necessary. Otherwise you can't beat this for HD video or for gaming. But there are a couple of things that you need to know about this card.
Summary: Sapphire only warrants their work for 2 years for a reason. I had good luck with them on a previous card but the warranty was longer back then. The shorter warranty shows the lack of faith in their own product.
Pros: Card was reasonably priced and ran great for 25 months.
Cons: 25 months happens to be one longer than the warranty. Car started exhibiting strange behavior with screen shut offs followed by full fan speed spinup. Sometimes this would happen at boot, other times it would happen under only desktop load after a short while of windows operation. Card now no lon...
Summary: I will never buy a Sapphire card again, and I would recommend that nobody else buy one either.
Pros: It was a nice video card, while it lasted.
Cons: Video card died after 20 months. Customer support was difficult to reach, but eventually replaced the card. Replacement card died after six months, and now they refuse to cover the card. If you have problems, Sapphire is not going to be your friend, and will not help you any more than they must. ...
Summary: Overall This Is A Great Graphic's Card, Able To Play The Newest Games On A Medium High To High Setting. I Would Recommend Buying Two For The Price If Your System Can Support It. I Have Been Running Mine For Just Over A Year Now And Have Never Had An Issue.
Pros: Great Price. Very Overclockable, Wow. Stock Cooling Keeps It Cool. Compete's With Even The Newest Graphic's Cards. Beat's The 6850 In Most Benchmarks. 1440 Stream Processor's Mean's Ability To Keep Up With Future Games.
Cons: Poor Heatsink And Fan Design Blows The Hot Air Into Your System Case Instead Of Out The Back. Only One Crossfire Bridge, So You Can Only Use A Maximum Of Two Graphics Cards In Crossfire. Does Not Handle Tessalation As Well As The 6000 Series And Up.
