Summary: This video card will handle anything but the most extreme overclocking environments that only a very few think is necessary. Otherwise you can't beat this for HD video or for gaming. But there are a couple of things that you need to know about this card. First off, Saphire had problems with this card overheating until they changed the cooling system. If yours shows up and it looks like the one in the pictures above, it's the one that overheats.
Summary: Pretty fast compared to other brands on the same clock speeds and voltages. Bought it to crossfire with my other 5850 and it didn't disappoint me. Only cons is the bad cooling on this thing. Heats up 10C more than my reference 5850.
This Card is awesome and it dominates the video card market for performance

Summary: So hows it perform? It does well in the benchmarking, most of the times delivering comparable performance with the 1GB model of this card but in other games such as Left 4 Dead and Batman, it shows a decided advantage. As a factory overclocked card it is easily faster than the reference card by way of comparison. Cooling performance is another aspect that was measured since this card does use a non-stock cooling solution.
Summary: Got this item for 210 bucks in 2009, fatal error in amazon but they honored the deal since I got the order in before they fixed the price. Still rated 7.2 outta 7.9 in windows 7 diagnostic and its already a year old, very good investment. Unfortunately this will not do 3 monitors with one gpu, you will have to get very specific monitors to be able to pull 3 monitors outta this single gpu unit, very falsely advertised imo.
Summary: With the price drops I decided to spend (less) money and buy a second 5850 to run in cross fire on my computer - so now I have two of these cards running. It seems to run fast but I haven't pushed it too hard - I have been playing Civ 5 with all the settings on max (anti aliasing) and so far the cross fire seems to handle this with little effort. One word of advice - download the latest driver from ATI or through Steam or some other gateway.
Summary: I bought this card as it was recommended online with a prominent gaming site. It was rated as the second best card for 2010. The power of this card is amazing, any game on ultra settings and no problems whatsoever. I have not overclocked the card as of yet and there seems to be no need. Power consumption may be an issue if you are using less than a 650 watt power supply and have top end components inside your box. Uses about 220 watts running most games under full load.
Summary: I didn't want to spring for the 5870 so I bought this. It's obsurdly powerful. Nothing I tossed at it even put a dent in it. It doesn't make much noise either. I'd hihgly recommend it to anyone needing a really nice video card.
Summary: this video card rocks in speed and performance i played all king of game in full without a problem even in autocad and sketchup render kick everything. The bad: the video card is almost death the temp are very low no overheating or something but have memory problem or GPU some horizontal lines when windows start or blue screen, very mad paid 300+ to have this quality.
Summary: These are overkill in xfire! Eyefinity is amazing, love the heck out of that! In the near future, 256bit cards may not own up to the games on the horizon, so I'm looking forward to ati making a higher bit card. They do seem to keep track of today, while the competition keeps running around asking game makers to bow to their needs, so they can at least show off their wares. As of today, 256bit cards will kick serious but. Xfire these and you'll have a kick but rig.
