Pros: I bought this card locally from a guy who had not even installed it. In fact, I bought a pair of them from him for $120, sold the used one for $120 on an auction site and kept the new one. Wow, what a card for the money. Once you get the current ATI drivers, this card works well with anything thr...
Cons: The card is excellent, but ATI has a history of driver issues and this one is no exception. You MUST get the most current drivers or the BSOD will appear.
Summary: At the time of this review it still beats 90% of high end cards which is why I'm writing this review to show that this is a solid card which is my best buy ever for my gaming rig. I OC my CPU, RAM, and everything I touch - this card has extremely low temps and runs super fast, what else can you ask...
Summary: Bought used online, very cheap now and very competitive still with cards like the 6850.
Pros: Idles around 36C, load of 62C overclocked to 1012 mhz core stock voltage. Memory went to 1235, runs cool and stable with stock cooling solution. Excellent overclock over over 25% core and 20% memory!
Cons: Gave me Black screens,BLUe screen, even Grey screens LOts of white lines Could'nt Play COd or Any type of games that strained The Gpu after the 2nd/3rd week of usage the Temps Spiked from 40cIdle when i got it to 60C idle and 90Load
Summary: During one of the Blue-Screen error log, which all were sent to MS, it listed one of the errors as being a PCI Parity error, I had only one PCI in the whole computer Sapphire's 100297L Radeon HD 5830. After removing the Sapphire it's now been two weeks and no BLUE SCREEN, Bob
Pros: When it wasn't bracking my machine it was fast everything worked faster.
Cons: Blue Screen Current Sys. Win7 64B Ultimate, 64B MB, 6-Core 3.5GH CPU, 16G Mem. and the latest in Hi-Tech video card Sapphire's Extreme 100297L Radeon HD 5830. The problem stated right at the gate with in the first hour of power I got my first Blue-Screen rebooted and started again, seem to be OK,...
Summary: Similar results with both cards so its not a bad card. One did require an slight overvolt to get to 1035. I can't really tell you how good this card is for gaming as it seems my cpu is a bottleneck (2.5ghz AMD x2)
Pros: This card is one of the best cards for bitcoin mining. With a little work will do 330 mhash.
Cons: 330 mhash requires 1035 gpu clock speed. Card is extremely unstable at that speed and you can only do that with a dedicated rig. I could not get stable results in fur mark over about 950 gpu.
