Sapphire HD 5750 1 GB GDDR5

5 November 2009
  • Summary: Sapphire's Radeon HD 5750 is a worthy addition to the new HD 5000 Series lineup. Even though it might not win any beauty contest against AMD's reference design HD 5770, which comes with a very stylish modern looking cooler, it can score high on all other criteria.
  • Pros: Very quiet, Very low power consumption, Massive overclocking potential, Reasonably priced, Support for DirectX 11, DirectX 10.1, Low temperatures, GDDR5 memory, Dirt 2 voucher included, Support for AMD EyeFinity Technology, Native HDMI & DisplayPort, Improvements to integrated HDMI audio device
  • Cons: Not the best price/performance ratio, DirectX 11 won't be relevant for quite a while, Not as visually appealing as HD 5770 reference design, No support for CUDA / PhysX

Sapphire Radeon HD5750 1GB Graphics Card

big bruin
23 October 2009
  • Summary: Where to begin? The Radeon HD5750 1GB graphics card does a lot of things better than you might expect from a 'mid-level' card. This isn't a top of the line gaming card, but it is does offer enough muscle to make games enjoyable even with the settings turned up pretty high.
  • Pros: » Decent mid-level gaming performance, » Energy efficient, » Runs cool and quiet, » Compact card will fit in smaller cases, » Nice combination of connections out back: 2x DVI, 1x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort, » Priced at about $135 (US), » ATI Eyefinity Technology - cool if you have a handful of monitors...
  • Cons: » 'Included' game isn't out yet, and you have to have a Steam account to get it, » Hopefully DirectX 11 gets moving quicker than DirectX 10 did

Sapphire Radeon HD 5750 Graphics Card

13 October 2009
  • Conclusion: The ATI Eyefinity technology, ATI Stream technology, and the full support for Microsoft DirectX® 11 does make this a card and the 5000 series of Radeon cards a very desirable card to have. The idea of 3 monitors alone makes me think that it could be a very fun card to play with.
  • Pros: Price, Performance, ATI Eyefinity, DirectX 11, DVI X2, HDMI and Display Port
  • Cons: Would have like to seen the cooler push air out the back.
