Appeared to be in good shape. The only problem I had
2 September 2014
Summary: Graphics cards appears to be working as expected. fast delivery. Appeared to be in good shape. The only problem I had, was trying to installed it along side another graphic card. At first It didn't seem to function properly. But after updating my drivers, everything seems to be okay.
Summary: Upgraded from 2 (Powercolor 4870 PCS+'s) and saw a substantial gain in frame rate, more than I expected as the original crossfire was a monster in its day. Newer top-shelf graphics cards are overkill at 1080p. No worries about high settings on demanding games.
Pros: Powerful Super-cool, quiet idle-35c @ 20% fan Dropped internal case temps Online promo, Newegg discount AND promo, and $30 rebate made it a steal DX 11
Cons: Not PCS+ but for under 190 bucks I can justify adding a liquid cooling system for it Rebates are a hassle but $30 is worth it
Summary: I boggle at the people that give themselves a 4 star tech rating and write drivel like 'Cons: 1. Required 2 6-pins from P/S'. Good grief. Listen, your card isn't going to blow up if it's at 80oC. If you want it to be cooler, then don't use the 'auto' fan setting.
Pros: Great price, behaves no differently than any other 'generic' 7950 card
Cons: PowerColor's warranty conditions put it in dead last as far as video card makers go. Maybe that's why they can price them cheaper.
Summary: Mine is sitting at 1005mhz core 1300Mhz Ram No throttling with out touching voltages, It doesn't like to go much higher then that. This isn't the best or the fastest or coolest 7950 but I got mine for 230 bucks. in July, nothing can touch this card at that price.
Summary: A friend of mine bought me this card in exchange for some work I had done for him previously. I was very skeptical at first, because I hadn't heard much of PowerColor, and had only used Sapphire brand cards in the past (upgrading from an HD 6850).
Pros: Very cheap compared to some of the other 7950 models. Despite being cheaper, this model is a complete powerhouse, and will plow through most games you throw at it at full 1080p resolutions. The shroud on the card feels good. When I first picked up the card and felt the weight of it, it just felt ...
Cons: This card does run a bit hotter than some of the other 7950's that are out there. Mostly due to the single fan design on the GPU. Under stress, with my case (a Rosewill BlackHawk Ultra), the card tends to hover in the mid-high 60's. I have seen it push mid 70's when playing Metro 2033 maxed out f...
Summary: I received this as an open box item from Newegg, and I'm shocked at just how well everything went. It included all the parts, there was no damage, it functions within specified operating parameters. Had they not directly said "open box" I may never have known otherwise.
Pros: It works fantastically and performs within expectations. The included Catalyst Control Center is useful Makes things look mighty pretty
Cons: I had a woefully difficult time fitting this into my machine. I'm not sure if the Mobo (Z87-Pro) was too low or the expansion slots on the case (Rosewill thor V2) were too high, but it took a lot of work to get it into a position where it would function. HDMI would not display without installing ...
Pros: cheap 7950 , i read here that u cant get pass 5XX megahash. im running right now 594 my settings are , engine : 1125 / memory : 975 / power tune : +20 , the cards get to 83C - 86C with this setting and do non stop 594 each , i have 3 cards running in 1 rig with non powered risers on the board , I...
Cons: sounded like a hair dryer at my apt but when i moved it to the location that it was going to rest at u cant even hear it. over all if you have a good place with air flow you will not hear it but if u cant not get a place with good air flow you will have some problems and crazy noise if you want s...
Summary: 770 GTX is faster, but $400 w/no games. This card $260-$280 (MIR) w/4 games that I would eventually purchase and play regardless. So, let's say games worth $60-$80 to me, that makes the card $200. Sell my 6950 for $100 now that makes this card a $100 upgrade vs. a $300 upgrade on the 770 GTX.
Pros: Decent clocks, good price considering the competition. I waited for the 770 GTX reviews before purchasing. This card still made the most sense, MIR for xtra coinage
Cons: Price of high performing video cards in general... considering this has been on the market for awhile now.
