Summary: This unit had a retail magnetic strip inside it. This led me to think the seller bought it at some big sale at Fry's or somewhere and resold it here. I guess that's not really wrong but...the inside...INSIDE...sub-box was crushed up some, which led me to wonder if this was even a new unit. From my view there was no way the damage could have been done to the inside box without some damage to the outside ("cover") of the box.
Excellent gaming card with plenty of discrete memory
8 June 2011
Summary: Very good product, excellent idle temps around 38 degrees and 62 on heavy load. Plays most games on very high to high. Would recommend to any gamer not trying to spend an income tax check on gaming cards
Summary: I like the fact that it only requires a minimum 450W power supply, with only one 6 pin power connector. has HDMI adaptor for a HDMI hook-up to a TV with HDMI and it is a low power consumption GPU. I have 2 of these in SLI and they play all the latest games out on high settings, sweat! also I didn't have to break the bank to get great performance so that I can play my favorite intense graphic games such as BATTLE FIELD BAD COMPANY 2.
Summary: Pros - This is probably the coldest running card I have ever had. It's running at 35C right now and maybe 42C under load. It is fairly quiet although fan noise does not bother me. This will max out most games today with the right CPU combo. Price. This thing is amazingly cheap for the price. Cons - Does not like overclocking. It's very large so you need a sizable case to use it. High power cuonsumption.
Summary: i needed this video card to make a sli with my old 9800 gtx+ XFX wich is better than the PNY beacuse of the cooling system but are very hard to find this days so i nstalled the pny, its woring perfectly together, giveing me excelent frame rate on video games
Summary: After buying my ATI 4870x2 bohemoth card, I thought I pulled myself off the high-end card market for at least 5 or more years. Well, I have since re-evaluated that premise and decided to dump the single card (dual memory) option in favor of the 9800GTX+ edition. I bought one earlier first and liked the performance and noted that it was out performing my ATI on Microsoft FSX and Laminer Research's X-Plane 9.45.
