Summary: this is an awsome card super good for gaming and dual monitors is super fast even faster in sli the sli is amazing i like its compatability with cuda and badaboom this card draws very little power and dosnt produce a lot of heat at all
Summary: Great item! Very quick and nice picture quality. Handles windows 7 nicely, with a graphics score of around a 5 or 6 depending on your system. The fan, however, is very loud and cannot be controlled. After I put a new cooler on it it will be quieter.
Summary: Pros: Still a viable card for most games, though you won't be able to play on ultra settings. Bought it to SLI with my other PNY 9600GT 1GB. Cons: Redesigned card is shorter (not a con), but they used a loud fan that sounds similar to a Formula1 race car.
Summary: Why you bought it? because i needed. - What you like most about it? the performance of the video card. - What you dislike about it? when i brought it the video card came with manufacture problems. - Whether or not you would buy the product again?
Still works fine and relatively low power consumption
1 November 2010
Summary: Still works with recent games including Starcraft 2. It occupies only one slot in your computer, plus its power consumption is relatively low. I put this on my Dell 5150 which has 307W PSU, one SATA HDD and this 9600GT, works just fine.
Summary: Might be a fast and cheap card, but even at $67 it was not worth it. I believe this is why they are so cheap; the noise level of the fan is ridiculously high most will return the card. The source of the noise is the fan which is always at 100% and can NOT be adjusted.
Summary: First off, somebody else wrote about a "jet engine" noise, and I have no idea what that's about. My machine is as quiet as it was before. This card is absolutely beautiful. It does everything it's advertised to do and more. It's quiet, fast, and has decent VRAM.
