Summary: I needed to replace my video card and this presented an inexpensive option for me. Shipped on time, product as advertised and the install was easy. One needed to have knowledge of downloading drivers for the install. Quiet fan and good performance.
Summary: I have had this Quadro 600 for more than a year and it works great, as advertised. I use it for two monitors: a VGA running at 1024 x 768 resolution and an HP ZR2440w running at 1920 x 1200 resolution. I did have to return the first one as defective but Amazon made a prompt exchange.
Summary: I will begin by stating what this product is not: a gaming graphics card. For those of you looking for a gaming card, you would get far more bang for your buck from the NVidia GeForce line, which offers more memory, higher clock speeds, and more CUDA cores for the same money. This card is a workstation product targeted to users of graphics-intensive technical applications, including CAD, GIS, and various photo and video-editing applications.
Summary: Bought a motherboard that had onboard DVI so I thought I was all set. Like a newb I didn't fully ready the specs of my CPU and realized *AFTER* I had assembled everything that the Xeon 1250 Ivy Bridge does NOT/NOT have onboard video so the onboard DVI was of now use. Went looking for a decent quality video card and stumbled on this. To be clear, it's much better than "decent". My main priority of building my latest PC was power consumption and noise.
