Summary: Did not improve render time like I expected, which is darn shame. After Effects got a noticeable boost but Premiere stayed relatively the same. You can very likely get much better cards for this much money.
Summary: I bought this because I though I would render faster in 3Dsmax. After I replaced my GTX680 with Quadro 4000, it's didn't become faster which made me really frustrated. For real-time rendering softwares such as VRAY RT, I can guarantee that GTX680 will be faster.
Summary: I use this GPU to render 3-D graphics for autocad, solidworks mechanical software and electrical simulation. It also works well for movies and normal use stuff. The card does notoriously run hot, in my opinion the thermal venting is not quite adequate for the performance it is capable of. It does run at 90-100C when using simulation software and mechanical modeling simultaneously in an extremely well vented computer chassis with high airflow.
Summary: I replaced the standard AMD (or whatever it was) graphics card with this to use with Adobe. It is AWESOME. Editing time has been cut in half, probably even more. I don't have to render nearly as often, and when I do, it's much quicker. I replaced it myself, which took about 15 minutes after I built up the nerve to do it. Turns out there was no reason to worry. Just make sure you aren't static (just touch anything metal first) or you could hurt your computer!
Summary: Excellent video card...used for my workstation running Autodesk Product Design Suite; haven't regretted purchasing this card at all. If you want a card for a cad application that runs without issues, this is one of the best.
Summary: I had a conflict with my old graphics card and the Adobe suite. After Effects and Illustrator kept crashing on me, so I did some research and found this product. It has been a life saver. My programs run so SO much better on this card. It's amazing. I'm able to use all of my tools in Photoshop now, and rendering in After Effects takes seconds instead of 45 minutes!
