The PNY Quadro FX 570 PCIE, which is based on Nvidia’s Quadro FX 570 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), features many of Nvidia’s technologies. These include innovations like the Unified Driver Architecture for simpler driver management; PureVideo technology for efficient High Definition video decoding; and the nView multi-display technology.
Other notable features include Nvidia’s Rotated-Grid Full-Scene Antialiasing (RG FSAA). With RG FSAA, the user can expect improvements in color accuracy and significant reductions in aliasing artifacts.
This PNY graphics card features an active fansink cooling solution and comes in an ATX form facto measuring 4.38 x 6.6 inches (H x L). It plugs into motherboards with a PCI Express x16 slot and offers 2 DVI-out terminals with support for Dual-Link DVI. Included in the box are 2 DVI to VGA adaptors. The card has a maximum power consumption of 38 watts and requires a minimum 450 watt power supply.
The Quadro FX 570 PCIE features 256 megabytes of GDDR2 video memory, a 128-bit memory interface and a 12.8 gigabyte/sec memory bandwidth.
