The PNY NVIDIA Quadro FX 3700 PCIE is a workstation-class video card designed to be used with high-end professional applications such as CAD, DCC and virtualization software. The graphics card, based on Nvidia’s Quadro FX 3700 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), works with the following operating systems: Microsoft Windows 2000; XP (32-bit and 64-bit); Vista (32-bit and 64-bit); and most Linux distributions. It supports Shader Model 4.0 as well as DirectX 10 and OpenGL 2.1 3D graphics APIs.

Features

This PNY graphics card, which is based on a high-end reference design, features many of Nvidia’s technologies. Among these innovations include the Scalable Link Interface (SLI) multi-GPU technology; a Unified Driver Architecture; the PureVideo technology for efficient High Definition video decoding; and the nView multi-display technology.

Other notable features include Nvidia’s CUDA C language environment, Full-Scene Antialiasing (FSAA) and Rotated-Grid Full-Scene Antialiasing (RG FSAA). CUDA technology enables GPU computing and helps the system solve complex computations such as real-time ray tracing. The Antialiasing features make for improvements in color accuracy and significant reductions in aliasing artifacts.

PNY Quadro FX 3700 PCIE measures 4.38 x 9 inches (H x L) and has a low-noise design (less than 40 db). It draws a maximum of 78 watts of power and requires a 450 watt power supply.

It features 512 megabytes of GDDR3 video memory, a 256-bit memory interface and a 51.2 gigabyte/sec memory bandwidth. The graphics card slots into a PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot and offers 2 Dual-Link DVI-I ports as well as a 3-pin mini-DIN stereo connector.
