Summary: 01/19/2013 I'm a gamer. I bought 2 of these for sli configuration All I can say is awesome. No crashes. I would buy it again. PNY is a name I have come to trust for video cards. So far I haven't even had to use the 2d one, and I play the latest, most graphic intensive games.
Summary: I was replacing an older Nividia card for this one. I have an Alienware pc and it has been nothing but trouble. I fell for the case. Alienware is overrated junk. My video card, motherboard and processor was overheating. I had to put more fans in the case. I was surprised that the heat came down a lot since i got this new card. It helped the overall heat problems in the case. My motherboard still gets hot, but things are much better since I purchased this card.
Summary: The card works great, it's just not what the box says it is. After installation the device manager and the nvidia control panel reported that it is a GTX470, NOT a GTX580. I consulted with PNY's tech support and they confirmed that it is not a 580, that it was tampered with (labels and serial numbers removed) and boxed as a 580. Aside from the obvious lack of labels, the power configuration is different.
Summary: I bought this card nine months ago. With the exception of some minor driver issues that were corrected by an nVidia patch a few months later, it worked fine for all that time. I play a lot of games, so I used the card heavily during those nine months. A few days ago, the card stopped working. The fan still spins, but the card no longer sends any data to the monitor.
Excellent Card, Nvidia back in the game for second gen DX 11 cards

Summary: After a lot of research i went for the Nvidia GTX 580, it was such a nice choice, the card is freaking quiet, i never hear it, i am able to play all games on max settings at 1920x1080p, the card is always cool, i dont know much what to say, the card is just flat out excellent. The cons?
Summary: The GTX 580 PNY graphics card is a fantastic card. Still the best single graphics card on the market. I was impressed by the power and quality of the graphics that this item produced. However, my problems arose right out of the box. For such an expensive item, you would likely expect all of the possibly needed peripheral connectors to be included. WRONG! There is no dual 6 pin-to-8 pin converter.
Summary: The Koolance 580 water block fits this 'reference design' perfectly. So if you are able to water cool, you can overclock this card and have a functional equivalent to two 460's in SLI without the cost or power consumption. In addition, this is the third PNY card I've bought in the last 6 years. They have all been EXCELLENT.
Summary: Seconds Ago I used to have an ATi HD4870x2 But the GTX580 Is far more Ahead of the ATI It's sooo cool ,quite,Fast ( I mean Alot Faster then The 4870X2) I play Alot Of games (MOH,COD,Crysis,Battle field Bad company 2, GTA4.....) & this card can rip them Apart @ (1680x1050 , Very high details) I recommend it for everyone.
