Excerpt: I'm a Graphic artist and was building another computer for my office. I needed a video card that could handle a lot of complex calculations and run without slowing down my processes but didn't want to spend over 150. Thus, this card runs perfectly and fits my needs; I'm a very picky person. It has over 700 cuda cores which is way more important than the 1gb ram. Don't be fooled into thinking that more gigabytes is a better option this card is solid.
Summary: After receiving the package in the mail (a few days after Christmas '13) it became clear that what i had received was in fact NOT a PNY GeForce GTX 650 Ti, but in fact it was a PNY GeForce GTX 650. This was later confirmed by finding out how many CUDA cores are present and by testing the clock speed of my card. The card is also visually identical to a GTX 650 (NOT Ti), and only takes up one (PCI/PCI-e) as opposed to two for Ti (because of the larger heatsink).
Summary: Definitely getting a one star, I ordered this product, and got the correct box, "GTX 650 Ti", but when I open it up, I'm greatly dissapointed to find that the product was rather a GTX 650.... So I send it back, get a replacement, got the correct packaging, and then AGAIN, I get a GTX 650, not the Ti version. I think all of Amazon's PNY Geforce GTX 650 Ti's are like this, being that I got the wrong product TWICE. Make sure this issue is resolved before buying it...
Summary: Use Adobe premiere. This card works with CUDA...barely! CUDA runs, but not at the best resolutions. Overall the card is good, also running the HDMI, (small HDMI port! Get an adapter for full size HDMI access!), to a TV set that works really well. Did not even install the drivers included. Downloaded directly from NVIDIA. Overall, good price and happy. I don't game, I edit video. Works OK for the price.
Summary: I spent 3 weeks researching GDDR5 Cards. My last thoughts were inspired by 'Tech of Tomorrow'. Small, Fast, Reliable card, with 1GB GDDR5 + Ti Boost for the most amazing value! I WAS, expecting a 2GB GDDR5, but... didnt pay much atttention to what i bought. I use it for 'Professional' Photoshop editing. Capable of rendering 200MB 3D picture in under 5 mins.
Summary: Plays World of Warcraft and Guild Wars 2 on highest settings, absolutely no problems with even 100+ people onscreen... I put it in a new build with a Asrock Extreme 4 MB, I5 3570k Cpu, Rosewill Challenger Case,Rosewill Hive 650 PSU, couldn't be happier with the performance. I was planning to upgrade the graphics card later, but it seems to be good enough with the 650TI so I'll just keep it like this.
Pros: This card runs games very smoothly. This card can run BattleField 4 on high settings and not have any sort of lagg! It never heats up my computer or makes it randomly shutdown. I did get a 440 watt power supply with it due to my computer never getting customized!!
Cons: I really have no had any trouble with this card, installation was very fast and downloading the driver tools seconds to minutes.
Summary: i have my rig up for a month now and this video card has impressed me. it is not high end but does a good job. the fan is fairly quiet. truthfully, i can't hear it because of this loud nzxt fan i have as a side intake. i'm not a pc gaming enthusiast so the card mainly push emulators and does a fine job. i was amazed at the graphics quality. windows gave it a 7.5.
Summary: I recently built a new PC. Ive never been one to build latest greatest because it seems I can put that money elsewhere and still get something decent for less. This was one of those. I researched NVIDIA & ATI cards in the 120-150 price only to find at the time that it was the 7770 for 110-140s or the 650 (not Ti versions). PNY did a great job with this car being priced so low. Now that newer models have been released this card should drop in price a little more.
