Big performance boost

Ray F, Amazon
  • Summary: Installed on a 6 year old Dell for my mother-in-law. What a significant performance improvement! The computer finally runs the way it should have. The computer always seem too slow based on its processor and 4 GB of RAM. Easy install too.

good quality, solid value for the price

Kongfuzi, Amazon
31 October 2013
  • Summary: I needed a new video card to drive 2x22" 1680x1050 monitors but also wanted to have the ability to drive something larger in the future. I don't do gaming so didn't need top of the line stuff and this card works well. Has both low and high profile bracket (I used the low) and for the price (I think in the $50 range) is good value for the money. I use both Nvidia and ATI stuff and go with Nvidia when I don't have to pay a huge premium.

dropped in, set up like a breeze, but bad setup cd's

Andrew Softley, Amazon
12 August 2013
  • Summary: This worked very well for my low profile, low power case where I needed to run two monitors. The only problem I had was with the installation cd's. I had cd's two, for two boards, and both were marred and scratched on arrival. Both cd readers would not read them, but luckily I had a networked computer with a drive that read them after the third try! So my five star review is for the boards, but the enclosed cd's get a one star!

Nice

Ty, Amazon
23 July 2013
  • Summary: This worked great on my old acient computer to help give it a little extra spunk. i did notice transition from screens speed up and the quality of the picture was much better than the built in video card. Keep in mind this computer i installed it in is from 2004-2005 time frame.

Good Graphics card

Steven Roach, Amazon
20 July 2013
  • Summary: Even though this card is old fashioned pci format, it is a good graphics card i used it on my windows system and it worked for a number of years, the only reason i am not using it at this time is because my mac has its own graphics card built in.

Still using it

James Stephens "jpstephens2012", Amazon
26 May 2013
  • Summary: I have technical problems with this card. It often leaves trash all over the screen that has to be manually refreshed in order to clear the trash left behind after rendering. It may be just because it is a PCI card rather than an AGP slot. My old Dell desktop doesn't support AGP, re:PCI. :( I think the PCI bus is not fast enough to accommodate this card. Therefore my review may be for reasons other than the quality or performance of this card.
