Summary: The software took a bit long to install. I don't know why. After a couple of days I did get a blue screen after starting up from standby mode and had to reboot. The OS (XP) said something about new hardware drivers so I reinstalled this cards drivers, which took a long time again. So far so good now. But its only been a couple days again. I'm hoping for no blue screen again as I use standby mode all the time instead of turning my computer all the way off.
Summary: Definite improvement on my old GeForce 5200FX. Running XP Pro it improved scenery drawing time in FS9 - not sure of any visual improvement but text much sharper. Easy to fit - the product description on the product I bought (from Germany) said that it required a direct from the PSU power supply but not true. Just plug-and-play. The card also looked very different from the illustration - very much smaller. But the computer identified it correctly.
Summary: I bought this to replace an ATI Radeon 9250 graphic card as I was upgrading my Pentium IV PC with 2GB of RAM to Windows 8 from XP Home (Windows 8 has no drivers for my old graphic card). I use it for watching craft videos and cataloging books in my business. My motherboard is an Elitegroup 848P-A7 (V1.0). It arrived promptly and I installed it straight away. Worth the money.
Summary: I bought this adaptor because I'd upgraded to Windows 7. It arrived promptly and I installed it straight away. When I powered up my PC the drivers were downloaded and my TCT LCD monitor was detected automatically, the system then set the graphics resolution correctly and within around 3 minutes I was on line.
Summary: My old graphics card went belly up a few weeks ago. It was the same type as portrayed. I play games on the computer and not much else! A friend fitted it for me ...easily done. All working well and I hope it does for a long time.
