Summary: My ASUS M5a97 motherboard didn't have onboard video. I was looking for an inexpensive video card that had HDMI and DVI. This card works great. I don't use my computer for 3D gaming or anything that taxing on the video card, so I can't comment on any high performance circumstances.
Pros: I got this to throw in a 2005 HP Workstation that I got for free. It works great. Plays lower quality games (Minecraft) with no problem. The computer had a 3Ghz P4 Processor that was holding things back still. I built a new gaming rig over the past few months and the card is now way better.
Cons: Don't know if this is the card or the motherboard, but I had troubles installing into my 2 systems. Like just placing the card in the slot. Not enough to deduct an egg.

Summary: I thought I needed this for my computer I was getting rid of to sell it faster but I didn't . This was the wrong part , So i had to return this item . Since I did not buy another product I have no way to compare it to anything , normal PNY components are well performing products.
Cons: I have bought maybe a half dozen or so of these cards that have been installed in a variety of PCs with XP and Win7. Without warning the video blanks out and does not return unless the PC is rebooted. The O/S seems to running fine, just no video. I normally powerdown or reboot and the video comes back for a short while then blanks out again without warning. I always had the latest NVidia drivers installed.
