Still Great After Years
Electronic A., Newegg
31 December 2014
Summary: If you ever see Palit cards of any model and are hesitant of the unfamiliar name, just think of how I abused 3 for nearly 4 years. They are still working for the guy I sold them too, and I have a feeling will for several more years.
Pros: Just an update because I am bored and this deserves it. Bought this back in March of 2011, followed by another 2 months later, and yes, a third about 3 months later from another retailer. Ran in 3-way SLI with 3 full cover water blocks on an internal Zalman 120x360mm radiator inside a HAF-932 cas...
Cons: Sad that I have never seen any Palit models for sale here or much anywhere in the USA since I got these. It appears Newegg bought a large stock of these once, and only once. After they were gone, that was it. Would love to see them sell here again, cause as I understand it, they only sell in Euro...
Summary: Don't build an overclocked card that crashes at the speed you release it. I find this unnacceptable. If I knew it would be like this, I wouldn't have paid extra.
Pros: This is a followup after having the card for a while. Pros are, it's a 570 that's a bit faster than a stocker since it's overclocked at the factory.
Cons: The card crashes on certain titles unless I set it back to the standard reference speed of a GTX570 using 3rd party software. The biggest standout is FEAR 3 DX11, which will crash consistently in 30secs to a few minutes. Crysis 2 DX 11 crashes time to time as well, as do some other titles here an...
Summary: This was used in my very first PC build and i told myself I will go all out or bust. So the gtx570 is the one best performing cards for the money. This single card can max out all my games without a problem or without blowing up on me.
Pros: -Max settings on all the recent games I love -Great factory overclock -Price was nice -Quiet dual fans
Summary: The description of this card says it requires a 6 pin and and 8 pin power connector. My card is revision 1101 which requires 2 six pin connectors instead. The original revision 1100 requires the 6 and 8 pin.
Pros: Great performing card. Running all my current games (BFBC2, Dragon Age 2, New Vegas, Crysis 2, Amnesia) at highest detail on a somewhat older processor and having no issues at all so far. All framerates around 60 fps avg at 1920x1080. Sturdy card and looks great as well. No issues with heat (36c ...
Cons: Some may not like plastic cover but not a big deal and probably stays cooler than a metal one which is looks like. It does vent into case rather than out the back due to two large fans on the front of the card. This could cause heat issues for an improperly cooled case. It is louder than my old 8...
Summary: System config: Intel Q9400 2.66(Oc at 3.62) Water-cooled 4gig Corsair DDr2 1066( See by bios at 951mhz) Palit GtX 570 Ultra PSU 750Watts Asus P5Q pro turbo Nzxt tempest EVO case
Pros: Man this card rock ive just install it ive try BF2 and farcry 2..its totally insane ive got 88-102 fps in BF Bad company 2(High x32 x16) with a high temp of 62c at 55% fan speed ..my last card was a XFX ati 5770 and this 570 totally crush it even with my 5770 crossfire i couldn't reach this perfo...
Summary: I don't want to give Newegg the big-head but you simply cannot beat their shipping system. I will always buy from Newegg first if they have the item I want and if it's competitively priced.
Pros: Awesome graphics, installation was smooth, Nvidia keeps drivers updated frequently. You will be able to play 90% of the games out there on their highest resolution and graphics settings without a hitch.
Cons: Gets very loud. Reading another review, this is apparently because it exhausts hot air directly in the case. So you need good air circulation in your case, which I guess I dont have. Wife says it sounds like a vaccuum when she plays Oblivion, id say more like a high powered dust buster.
