Summary: Was concerned about Palit, but at time of purchase they were the best oc card. 6 months later not a single game has made me need another card for 1080 ultra. Tomb raider though on max it will do 30-60fps.
Summary: Well, it's a card that once overclocked, it performs like a 680...and it's price is lower...so do the math... It performs really well in every demanding game I tried to play in ultra settings...With vsync enabled I'm enjoying a steady 60fps gameplay in Battlefield 3. Very good rates in Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 Beta too... It's what I expected... The only drawback is that it makes noise even in idle phase..Both fan noise, whining... and that's something usual in ref.
Summary: Ok, time to post my thoughts on this card after having run it in for a few months in a custom build. First off, I won't be telling you anything that you don't already know when I say that the price-to-performance ratio of the 670 is the current sweet spot for GPUs. There are boundless reviews of the hardware specs only a Google search away but, for the average Joe, all you need to worry about is that even at stock settings the 670 will pretty much power through any...
Summary: Am reasonably happy with the second card I have received from Amazon - the first had an issue whereby one (not both) of the fans was stuck at 100%, which caused an awful amount of high pitched whining noise. Returned to Amazon and the replacement works just fine. Only issue I have is that the card (and the faulty first one) creates some intermittent sound interference with my Harman Kardon Soundsticks II system - I think it may be the fans spinning at a particular speed...
Summary: At first I bought this card with only a AMD Phenom X11 955 knowing it would probably be bottlenecked. It was much worse than I thought and had to buy a new CPU a bit early, after that the performance greatly improved even though I was getting constant 60FPS on games like Battlefield 3.
Summary: Very quiet in operation, alot quieter than my old GTX280 and much lower temps. Performance wise brilliant although had a problem on some games which seemed abit choppy, changed to a beta driver which seemes to have improved things (304.48)
Summary: VERY good card: Pros: high frame-rates on latest demanding games such as BF3 NEVER LAGGY :) Cons: half memory clock of a standard 670 (3004 instead of 6008) can get quite warm but only if insufficient cooling.
