Summary: Performance wise this card is great...runs bf3 on ultra and crysis 3 on high/very high HOWEVER the cooler is loud under load..it makes a 'whining' noise. I read other reviews on here and saw they had the same issue but I decided to take a gamble and buy it. Luckily I returned it and reported it as faulty so I suggest everyone to avoid this brand and go for eVga, gigabyte or any other well known brand as this is the first and last time I will buy a palit/ cheap brand gpu.
Summary: Well, it's a card that once overclocked, it performs like a 680...and it's price is lower...so do the math... It performs really well in every demanding game I tried to play in ultra settings...With vsync enabled I'm enjoying a steady 60fps gameplay in Battlefield 3. Very good rates in Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 Beta too... It's what I expected... The only drawback is that it makes noise even in idle phase..Both fan noise, whining... and that's something usual in ref.
Summary: Ok, time to post my thoughts on this card after having run it in for a few months in a custom build. First off, I won't be telling you anything that you don't already know when I say that the price-to-performance ratio of the 670 is the current sweet spot for GPUs. There are boundless reviews of the hardware specs only a Google search away but, for the average Joe, all you need to worry about is that even at stock settings the 670 will pretty much power through any...
Summary: The reason I hesitated when deciding to purchase this, was my lack of recognition of the "Palit" brand. There was little to be found of them online, but with the positive feedback on Amazon I took a gamble. And won! This is a fantastic card! Not exactly pretty, but when will you see it? Rattles through Battlefield 3 barely breaking sweat. It makes my eyeballs so happy, I actually question myself for debating dropping another £70 on a more brand name card.
