Summary: I bought one of these 15 months ago. It was a refurbished GPU and i was hoping it would last me a little longer. I knew refurbished products are because they may have malfunctions but it was a MSI refurbished GPU so i hoped that it was sent back and tested properly clearing any potential problems or issues. (Or even because the customer simply doesn't like it, which happens quite frequently.) Sadly it just failed me yesterday.
Summary: This Graphics card is surprisingly great, and it can run games like Skyrim with no problem at all. For the price, and performance, you'll save quite a bit of money. It is very quiet, and you can barely hear it even at its max fan speed. The installation is very easy, and the Catalyst control center can download the drivers for you. I would dual video cards if my motherboard would allow me to.
Summary: This is a good video card BUT when you boost your graphics on newer games ive had the problem where it will overheat and will shut your whole system down just staying on the Everquest II character select screen for too long. Id suggest a program called "Afterburner" where you can customize the GPU fan settings in an algorithm chart style. This will help the problem, butit took me a long time to figure that out and the average user would never know about this option.
Summary: I play Skyrim on ultra settings with all mods installed from the Skyrim Beautification project and it still runs beautifully. I get 55-60 fps consistently on bf3, and 65+ on Borderlands 2. It stays very cool and I never hear it at all.
Summary: Bought this card for my new pc build and couldn't be happier. Runs cool and quiet, aces high runs 59 fps at 1680x1050 with Max settings and high res textures. The price , fast shipping and great product made this a steal.
Summary: Does not disappoint at all. Much cooler than a HD 4850 which I upgraded from. If I had another slot I'd buy another and go crossifire. I don't know why though because this is basically all you need. I can max out everything except Crysis 3 which I put on High and medium AA. I get 25-45 fps when coupled with SSD. Definitely playable. Other games frame rates are ridiculously high.
