Summary: This is a good video card BUT when you boost your graphics on newer games ive had the problem where it will overheat and will shut your whole system down just staying on the Everquest II character select screen for too long. Id suggest a program called "Afterburner" where you can customize the GPU fan settings in an algorithm chart style. This will help the problem, butit took me a long time to figure that out and the average user would never know about this option.
Summary: I play Skyrim on ultra settings with all mods installed from the Skyrim Beautification project and it still runs beautifully. I get 55-60 fps consistently on bf3, and 65+ on Borderlands 2. It stays very cool and I never hear it at all.
Summary: Bought this card for my new pc build and couldn't be happier. Runs cool and quiet, aces high runs 59 fps at 1680x1050 with Max settings and high res textures. The price , fast shipping and great product made this a steal.
Summary: Does not disappoint at all. Much cooler than a HD 4850 which I upgraded from. If I had another slot I'd buy another and go crossifire. I don't know why though because this is basically all you need. I can max out everything except Crysis 3 which I put on High and medium AA. I get 25-45 fps when coupled with SSD. Definitely playable. Other games frame rates are ridiculously high.
Summary: I use this card for scrypt mining. If I have cgminer set to run this card at intensity 14, I can pull around 250kh/s. At intensity 19, the rest of my computer lags HARD but hashrate jumps to around 340-350kh/s. Card stays VERY cool compared to my old card (ATI radeon HD 6750). Never gets above approximately 70 degrees celsius, even under high stress and full load.
Summary: Great graphics card for a first time builder. Easily plugged in and runs all but the most recent games on ultra paired with an intel i5. I've had this nearly a year and never had a problem with it other than the newer games being more demanding.
