Summary: Have been using this video card for a year now, has easily digested every game i've thrown at it with max graphics settings at 1080p resolution, almost never dropping below 60fps. Im a casual gamer, Ive been playing civilization V, Dishonoured, Fallout New Vegas, Diablo 3, Borderlands 2.
Summary: Pros: Runs good and cool. Runs Counter Strike: Source on 2560x1600 for me at 550-950fps depending on map and players in the server. All my games are on 2560x1600 and I keep my settings rather high on all of them. No problem running bf3 at all. Cons: After a few months of having the card it died and I had to rma it. Other Thoughts: Other than it dying, and the one they sent me as an rma having a bent backplate.
Summary: I bought this Video card to replace the Nvidia card that came with my Dell computer. The main reason for the change was to be able to connect 4 monitors. I have 2 monitors connected directly to the video card via DVI and the other 2 connected with a Active mini display port to DVI adapter. The card does not seem any louder than my previous card. It is really big, I could barely fit it in my case, I had to move some cables around, but it works.
Summary: I have been looking for a major overhaul for my gpu (old gpu was an hd 5670 which I paid $90 for) but I didnt want to spend some ridiculous amount of money (over $350) just for a graphics card and I found this for just a dollar short of $200 and it arrived a day earlier than the delivery estimate and it works absolutely fantastic! So much better than my old card. This runs crysis max setting at 35-40 fps while recording wih fraps! And 45-50 not recording!
Summary: This is hands down one of the greatest graphics cards I've seen. Everything is extremely crisp. I ran a few games in max settings and it looked amazing and ran beautifully. If you're looking for a video card around $200, this is the card for you. Shaders can be unlocked to get to 6970, but it's great as is! MSI is quality!
