Great card!

  • Summary: This is still a pretty good video card, I bought it a year ago as a second card for my latest build. The cooler is especially nice, always kept the temps down in the 30s idle and mid 40s during full load. msi has documented how this card may be unlocked to a 6970 through their own BIOS, I can attest to the fact that it works. I successfully unlocked the shaders and overclocked the card to 6970 specs.

So far loving this!

  • Summary: I replaced my 2x Radeon HD 5950's with this. The twin cards were just producing too much heat and would cause my PC to shut down. Bought this card to replace it and I'm getting much better performance. Playing Skyrim on Ultra with no drop in frame rate. Also able to play SWTOR at High with avg 60+ frames per second. I'm very happy with this card and would recommend for anyone looking for a great, but inexpensive card.

Good for the money

  • Summary: For the price/performance, this is a great card. However, it is a power hog compared to the 7850. Do yourself a favor, spend the extra cash and go for that. You will be future proofing yourself.

  • Summary: Crazy fast, quite and VERY cool, with the stock fan etc it stays well under 40 degrees while playing mid level games like mw2, yet to bench it on more needy games like bf3, but i got this card for around $440 nzd which is quite a deal. Only problem is this card is humongous and you might have a bit of trouble building in some cases like the antec 300, make sure the hdd is on the lower slots before installing the card.
