Summary: good choice for HTPC, I changed a SIS integrated, and the change is from heaven to earth. WARNING: If you're using XP SP3, the only functional driver is the one on the CD. (10.9). is "special" because it is the only thing that keeps you disabled the "Microsoft UAA" after the restart. The most recent versions activate the "Microsft UAA" and only get a CPU usage of 100%.
Summary: My desktop is about a 2 years old or so, and all of a sudden the integrated graphics just stopped working. So I was looking for a cheap graphics card that would work with my computer. I don't know too much about computers, but after doing some reading online, I knew this card would work. As soon as I plugged it into my PCI port my computer was working again.
Summary: Has built-in and separate VGA, DVI, and HDMI ports. Low-profile, comes with a full-size bracket installed, but also includes a few different low-profile brackets. 3d performance is pretty poor (as expected) but much better than my integrated Intel 915 IGP. Accelerates flash video and other forms of video, so that now my Celeron 2.6ghz can play HD flash videos without trouble. With the old built-in IGP, high-res scaled flash videos choked.
Summary: I purchased this to build a new computer with reasonably priced components. I didn't expect much from this, but it certainly did deliver a beautiful screen. This computer isn't used for much gaming except for online simple games, but it is used for netflix and xfinitytv. It seems to work perfectly with these tasks. Installation was very simple.
