Pros: Plays absolutely everything i throw at it. I am a PC gamer and this card flawlessly plays LoL, WoW, EVE, Rift, dozens of games on Steam including the new Hitman Absolution on max settings!!! Absolution is a tiny bit glitchy at times on max but deff tolerable. The card is SILENT! ... and it looks ...
Summary: I am satisfied with the video quality. I install it in a motherboard Gigabyte Intel Core i7/i5/LGA1156/4DDR3-2200/CrossFireX/SLI/2GBE/Raid/SATA3/eSATA/USB3.0/7.1-CH/1394 ATX Motherboard GA-P55A-UD4P, with a processor i7 860, and it works very well.
Summary: I bought this card because the 9800GT that came with my HP computer gave up the ghost after 2 years. I've been extremely happy with the performance of the 9800...it runs everything that has come out in the past 2 years with graphics quality maxed out and at 1920x1200.
Summary: I had purchased my first 9800gt back in February 2010. I am running my dual core 4gb custom built htpc using this vid card. I stream sports, movies, tv as well as using it day to day usage. I have it hooked up to my 65" mitsubishi dlp tv and my 22" inch lcd widescreen monitor.
Summary: Replaced an old Geforce 8500 GT card with this and this difference is as clear as night and day. The manufacturer suggests 400w power supply for this card. I have an old, stock 300w PSU and it runs fine. no need to buy a new PSU.
Pros: - Games run really smooth. - The fan is very quiet - Stays relatively cool with full load - Great price - Doesn't need a lot of power.
Summary: All around great video card and seems to handle one of the more challenging applications. FlightSim X has all sorts of posts regarding high demand on video cards but this one handles it fine on an 8gb machine with quad core 2.x procs.
Pros: I've yet to test with other games and honestly only wanted it for Microsoft Flight Simulator X. I've cranked the graphics options to the max and then some and not a glitch. Excellent card for the Flight Sim enthusiast.
Cons: Would rather have 2 DVI connections vs 1 DVI and 1 VGA. It also requires a slot above the PCI express slot for air flow. In most cases the PCIe slot doesn't have any free slots above it. I had to make adjustments to my HP case and managed to make due. FSX on dual monitors with 1 on another video ...
Summary: i own an HP Pavillion Media Center a1520n with XP. I upgraded the RAM from 1gig to 2 gigs and I have added a PCI slot fan, a hard drive fan, i upgraded the 92mm main fan on the back of the case, and I upgraded the 300watt power supply to a 450 watt.
Pros: silent fan. cheap but very effective. runs almost every game i own at highest settings. easy install.
