Summary: I had purchased my first 9800gt back in February 2010. I am running my dual core 4gb custom built htpc using this vid card. I stream sports, movies, tv as well as using it day to day usage. I have it hooked up to my 65" mitsubishi dlp tv and my 22" inch lcd widescreen monitor. And the picture is Awesome! It runs movies, video games, sports, and day to day apps. to perfection. Bravo MSI.
Summary: I bought this card because the 9800GT that came with my HP computer gave up the ghost after 2 years. I've been extremely happy with the performance of the 9800...it runs everything that has come out in the past 2 years with graphics quality maxed out and at 1920x1200. The thing I didn't like about the original one was that it had a large heat sink and a cheap little fan to cool it, which is what I attribute to it's demise.
Summary: I am satisfied with the video quality. I install it in a motherboard Gigabyte Intel Core i7/i5/LGA1156/4DDR3-2200/CrossFireX/SLI/2GBE/Raid/SATA3/eSATA/USB3.0/7.1-CH/1394 ATX Motherboard GA-P55A-UD4P, with a processor i7 860, and it works very well.
Summary: I ordered this card to upgrade my Dell Precision 370 so that I could use it as a gaming box. I installed the card in my cpu and it was able to give me signal off of the HDMI port right out of the box. Of course I downloaded the drivers but I was very happy that I could hook it up to my 40" Sony Bravia right away to look for them online. The card runs fairly quiet. You can hear the fan but I was surprised how quiet it was for such a large fan.
