J. Foster, Amazon
19 December 2011
  • Summary: Pros: Quiet, easy to install, works well with productivity applications. Cons: Doesn't render first-person shooter games well or RTS games made after 2008.

Great upgrade for an unused rig.

Matthew, Amazon
29 November 2011
  • Summary: So I ordered the card... Obvious. Got here BEFORE it said it would. Perfect. Gift wrapped product, without request. Neat. Says acceptable condition. It is pristine... Everything including the anti-static bag from the original packaging was there! Adapter, low profile bracket, driver, and so on.

Small Cool Silent

Citi B., Newegg
18 February 2011
  • Summary: replaced a "lifetime warranty" BFG 6600 gt. This card was an X16 native card but performed similarly despite higher clock and faster DDR3 memory - albeit only 128mb of it. I wold consider recommending this to anyone who needs a cheap card to watch movies, surf, and play mild games like Anno and Sim...
  • Pros: This card is compatible with PCIe x16. It clocks the memory down to 400mhz but it works. Card was plug and play for me and I let Windows 7 update install the driver. Card is TINY as the heat sink extends about 1 inch downward and the card itself is small enough for one of the micro atx cases no p...
  • Cons: I just installed it so I will update if something bad happens.

DOA

Robert H., Newegg
18 February 2011
  • Pros: Easy to install.
  • Cons: Did not work. Tried every way I could think of to load drivers and all I ever got was a blank screen after boot. System is a Dell E520 with Duo-Core processor, 4 gigs RAM and a 305 watt power supply. Was trying to upgrade from a NVidia 7300LE since I bought a 23" LCD monitor to replace a 19" anal...

Good budget card

David D., Newegg
16 February 2011
  • Pros: Works flawlessly with both Windows 7 and Linux (both 64-bit). Streaming HD video is probably the most GPU intensive thing I use this card for, and it handles it very well.
  • Cons: None so far.

Lousy Graphics Card - Don't Even Bother!

Scott Carmichael, Amazon
15 February 2011
  • Summary: I bought this card because my 9800GTX+ card was having overheating issues and I was tired of it shutting itself of during certain 3D-heavy games. I knew there'd be a performance drop because my 9800GTX+ was a pretty expensive card when I got it in '08.
