Summary: I had this card for 4 years and what a nightmare. First, the fans made noise within a year. I cleaned them out often since it would get pretty hot with a little dust on the heatsink. +80c I contacted MSI which told me I'd have to send the card in and get someone else's used card instead of my own.
Pros: It's dead so I no longer have to deal with MSI
Cons: Runs hot Fans are loud Fans are cheap Horrible customer service MSI doesn't sell or have fans to sell Warranty is worthless since they only send you back a refurbished card that has unknown hours or overclocking
Cons: I bought this card thinking it was a great card but not even a year of ownership the fans start making all kinds of noise and it blacks out and comes back after the fans have failed I would not recommend this card or the twinfrost to anyone
Summary: I bought this card because I assumed it had a superior cooling solution, so I am a bit shocked that it failed in this manner. I give this card one egg because a card should last more than two years..
Pros: This card is very powerful and cool.....when it is working.
Cons: I have had this card for just about two years now. Up until today i was very happy with it, in fact I was just a few weeks away from getting a second one for SLI. Sadly today happened though....One of the fans started making a weird noise, I investigated and saw that it was struggling to spin... ...
Pros: This thing ran on high octane with no OC'ing done. I ran everything through it on high levels with not even a hiccup. It was great for about 2 months and then...
Cons: it went dead. No picture, no blips, no read-out at all. I called MSI to get help and was sent to an answering machine. I was irked by this but left a detailed message with everything I could think of to get help. It's been over a month since I called and no call back. I even tried calling repeate...
Summary: my specs I7 ivy 3770k asus TUF z77 mobo 16gb corsair (2x8) antec 1000w psu antec twelve hundred case..... I'm tired pf paying to ship this card back so i can get a junk refurb one back. well time to RMA again
Pros: eats all games for a 500 series it is great! go for a 650ti same card much cheaper and not much performance loss.
Cons: i have lost this card 2 times now, no overclocking and no tweaking at all by me just 2 times now this card has died completely. I dont think ill buy MSI again i still have an EVGA 9800gtx+ for my backup and I'm glad i do, this card is unreliable and will just die for no reason.
Summary: Honestly thought this would be a great card for the price. bought it for Gaming, but in less than a year it is at the point where it won't even run Facebook games without crashing after about 4 hours. I would not recommend this card.
Pros: Decent price. Performs well when working.
Cons: Card has never been very reliable, the video drivers constantly crash causing program lockups shut downs and even whole PC restarts. It is almost impossible to leave the PC running for any extended period of time because it will inevitably shut down and restart. I have tried almost every Nvidia d...
Summary: MSI is a worthless company that doesn't care once your money is in their hands. I will never purchase a product from them again. They were the cheapest brand for the card I wanted, and I have paid dearly for being cheap. This is a prime example of, "You get what you pay for."
Pros: This card works great and stays very cool in my case. I can pretty much play any game out there. I may not be able to play BF3 on ultra, but I can definitely play it on high. As well as other games.
Cons: Stopped working after 1 year of ownership. No problem, this happens sometimes. Of course, I sent it in and received a card in the mail. That card lasted about 4 months. I'm about to send the card in AGAIN. Thanks MSI. Now, on to the real issue. MSI has the worst customer support I've ever seen in...
