Screaming 560's

Andrew H., Newegg
6 July 2012
  • Summary: Temps hit 90C on top card in SLI, a bit warmer than I like. Only hits about 78 on lower card.
  • Pros: Pretty high initial overclock Looks great Performance Single card temps
  • Cons: Gets pretty hot in SLI, even with good card spacing and airflow Loud because of aforementioned heat, but with a whiny quality that can get pretty annoying

Update to Previous Review

Bruce K., Newegg
24 June 2012
  • Summary: System specs: MSI P55-CD53 motherboard Intel Core i5 760 (LGA1156) CPU @ 2.8 GHz 16 GB G.Skill Ripjaws X Series DDR3 10666 1333 MHz MSI N560GTX-Ti Hawk Edition GPU 2x 60 GB Corsair Force 3 SSD in RAID 0 2x 640 GB WD Caviar Black HDD in RAID 0 Creative Audigy 2 ZS Audio (the soundcard that would...
  • Pros: Just an update to my previous review concerning the performance dip on the Diablo III beta. Now that the full game is released, I'm still seeing a drop in frames as well as delayed UI response time due to frame rate drop. I went into the Nvidia Control Panel and reduced the "Ambient Occlusion" se...
  • Cons: Not necessarily a con anymore, but I have to put something in here and this was a minor annoyance early on... When installing, make sure you go to Nvidia's site and download the latest 500 series drivers. I had some occasional issues with seemingly random driver crashes; the screen would flash an...

Great Card

Bruce K., Newegg
3 April 2012
  • Summary: Don't get me wrong, I'm quite pleased with this card, upgraded from an MSI GTX 260 OC. I was going to go with another brand because I had a manufacturer rebate as well as another rebate from my purchase of The Witcher 2, but by the time I had the $$$ and attempted to purchase direct from...
  • Pros: 950 MHz factory OC compared to 822 MHz reference speed. Sweet cooling system. 1 GB of its own dedicated memory. It's MSI, they've never let me down. Well, except for the rebate...
  • Cons: Never got rebate. MSI never gave me problems before, so don't understand what the deal is this time. it was only like $20 or $25, so I'm not sweating it that badly, it's not like they hung me out to dry, but still... Fans get NOISY. I use headphones while gaming, but I'll tell you, if the fan usa...

560ti

Vincent M., Newegg
5 December 2011
  • Pros: Quiet, cool, fast.
  • Cons: Worked great for 3 weeks. Then suddenly would crash in games and video. I reloaded video driver, switched to diferent version, nothing worked. I shut down the computer and reseated the video card some. Works again. Maybe the weight of the card causes it to slowly lose contact with some pins. Migh...

Good Card While It Lasted

Nic G., Newegg
7 November 2011
  • Summary: Love the card / speed for the price Buy it if you are on the edge or yes / no, but if you are nervous about customer service, go with a different company unfortunately.
  • Pros: Great Card for the Price Plays most games on Ultra / High Spectacular upgrade from my 8800GTS Plays BF3 on Ultra
  • Cons: Died 31 days after my purchase on Newegg. They would exchange it BUT, since I sent in rebates to MSI they could not. Still <3 Newegg MSI is the worst customer service company ever. They make you pay for rma process (shipping to them) which is ridiculous, especially since I have had the card for 3...

MSI 560 Ti

Elizabeth N., Newegg
14 October 2011
  • Summary: wondering if placing 2 large fans on side of tower can replace speed and decrease noise on videocard fans
  • Pros: Has great software to control and watch the videocard performance and charts. Is fast and smooth
  • Cons: the twin fans are pretty noisy, I expect this to be true with all fans that spin that high, twin fans makes it a bit worse

Great.. with a catch

Brian O., Newegg
29 September 2011
  • Pros: Great bang for the buck. Very fast, pretty quiet, reasonably priced for it's speed.
  • Cons: Heatsink isn't a reference design. Only a big deal if you plan to use a full-coverage waterblock. I was going to get a DangerDen block for it, but didn't research quite far enough to find out I couldn't use their custom-made block. My fault. I'd still rather companies stick to stock hole drilling...

Excellent card

Brad W., Newegg
29 August 2011
  • Summary: I bought a 580 from a very Experienced VGA company and it lasted about an hour before it died. Turned back to trusty MSI and bought two of these for SLI which would theoretically be faster than a 580. I almost returned both cards but tried it one at a time instead.
  • Pros: Very fast factory overclock, Great cooling when not in some SLI set ups, plays pretty much everything, mini HDMI
  • Cons: Not made for SLI in a board that has only one slot between PCIE slots, such as a Sabertooth X58 The problem with my Sabertooth X58 is that the PCIE slots are too close together and the black support bar on the bottom card pretty much pushed into the top card. The fans made a horrible sound and th...

Excellent but loud.

Michael, Amazon
3 June 2011
  • Summary: I bought this card for use with BF3. It runs BF3 very well, it will run on high settings with excellent frame rates, you can even run it on Ultra but you will take a performance hit. I can personally confirm it runs excellent on high settings after 35 hours of playtime.
